Dreamcreep *| Hi, I go here by the name FleurCityWrites. I'll be publishing interesting random articles or stories to entertain our hungry minds. If you find this interesting, please tell me what you think or how do you perceive or interpret the story. Thanks for your time. |*

I don't know my name, I don't know anyone's name. What I do know is their role in my life. I know she's my mother, my family, my friend, classmates, teacher, neighbor, just their simple titles yet not by name. I was living with my grandma, I don't know who my father was or what happened to him, I never asked. But I do know who's my mother who never taken care of me, she leaves the responsibility with my father's mom. Until one day she wanted to take me. I don't know why I agreed, maybe because she plead and told us a story about a tree. A not so ordinary interesting tree that has never grown since I was born and that I was connected to that tree so I must go with her to solve the mystery, we were told. On our way of my mother's home. We were walking on the street heading to her house, she kept telling me about this tree and how glad she was that I agreed to come and see it with my own eyes.

On the right side of the house, there was the main road with cars flashing passing by. The house is on the right side of the street, we were walking on the left side path walk, with no one else, alone. As we were getting close to the house, I saw the tree that she was talking about. Somehow, my focus and attention were immediately caught by the tree, I can't keep my eyes off of it. We were now getting closer and closer and I was still staring at it until the house is right in front of us across the road. The feeling's melancholy, my vision feels like it's filtered in antique—old effect. I don't know where were the leaves in the air being carried away by the wind came from, without any trees on the street except the one from my mother's land (Maybe from the nearby street, I WANT to think). Our hair was being pulled from the back of our shoulder because of the strong wind, yet it doesn't even make me blink as I was looking straight at that mysterious tree. The source of the power of the wind was that green in front of me. I can feel the power of it. As we get across the road and the moment I step in the land, the tree shivers very slowly yet ended quickly, it seemed like it has its movement to do on its own. Its movement surprised me in a way that it also makes me shiver in fear, it makes my heart racing in shock. At that moment, my mother gasped and whisper closely to my ear, "Oh my gosh, did you see that? It's you! you made that happen!". I was speechless. I don't know what happened after that, I don't know how the day passed, I was conscious, I know I was, but everything vaguely happened was like the scenes were in forward (skipped happenings) but in slow motion at the same time in blur vision. My mother was right and what she said was true. The tree didn't grow and it looked so young. However, somehow you'll still know it's old, I can feel it. It is connected to me, It seems like I know it. I feel like some part of me is the tree, I was, and I am the tree.
