All the FUD about POW and its being bad for the environment: If we focus on FIAT, the estimated global production costs of paper currency in 2014 were 5 terawatts per year and 10 billion liters of water. While the banking system alone is even consuming more energy than the Bitcoin network, bankings energy costs are calculated around 100 terawatts per year. Not to mention the production of safes, security cars, weapons and fuel needed for the distribution. We should focus on the production of clean energy, not blaming a useful asset for consuming it.

Add to that the costs of fuel and energy used to harvest trees and materials used in bank notes, coins and credit cards, and the continual destruction to our planet that they like to keep going on about in order to produce these so called forms of currency
