Longest Holidays

Filipino known to have the longest Christmas celebration. It started in September until the New year but in religious aspects it ends in the celebration of 3 Kings also known as Melchor, Caspar and Balthazar. But this holiday never stop here in fact some city in Philippines continue the spirit of holiday until the 3rd Sunday of January. Specially Cebuano, in January 8 they start the celebration of Sinulog that ends in 3rd Sunday of January. Sinulog Festival is honored to the baby Jesus that also symbolizes the Christianity of Filipinos.
