Saturday, June 5, 2021 - At 09.00 am there was a fire in the refrigerator in the Medan Hotel room having the address at Jalan Ahmad Yani Gampong Peunayong, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City. Information gathered from the witness of the Medan Hotel worker stated that he saw smoke coming out of the gap in the door of the hotel room which had not been occupied and after opening the door he saw that the refrigerator in the room was on fire. Furthermore, the witness tried to spray the fire extinguisher (fire poison tube) and after that the witness reported this incident to the hotel manager and also the fire brigade to ensure conditions remain safe. Based on fire information received via emergency telephone 0651 – 113 at 09.00 WIB, Drs Rizha, MM as the Head of the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service (DPKP) assigned a mobile picket officer to deploy 1 unit of attack fleet and 1 unit of supply fleet to arrive at 09.07 wib. (Arrived at the location 7 minutes after receiving the complaint). The total fleet is located at 2 units of the fleet. If at 09.20 WIB the condition is safely under control and managed to save the other room so that the fleet is finished returning to the post at 09.35 WIB. During the extinguishing process, PLN officers were also assisted, the Kuta Alam Police at the back of the Banda Aceh Police, Kodim personnel, the local Koramil, ERPA and RAPI volunteers in securing the scene.
