BLK Banda Aceh Building Hall Fire Banda Aceh, Saturday 12 March 2022 - At 06.00 WIB, a fire occurred in the BLK hall with the address Jalan. Danusubroto Gampong Geuceu Complex, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City. Information gathered from the witness, Head of BLK Rahmad Faisal, stated that he received information from security and hall decor workers that a fire was burning the aisle which would be prepared for today's wedding ceremony. The witness then went to the location and contacted the fire department for assistance in extinguishing the fire. Based on fire information received via emergency telephone 0651 - 113 at 06.00 WIB, Yubasri, ST. M.Si as Plt. The head of the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service (DPKP) assigned mobile picket officers to deploy 2 units of the main command post arriving at 06.07 WIB. (Arrived at the location 7 minutes after receiving the complaint) followed by 4 other units of the auxiliary postal fleet. The total fleet at the location is 6 fleet units. If at 07.00 WIB the fire can be extinguished and further cooling efforts are carried out, and after completing the task the fleet returns to the post at 08.45 WIB. During the extinguishing process, PLN officers were also assisted by the Banda Raya Police in backing up the Banda Aceh Police, Kodim personnel, the local Koramil, ERPA and RAPI volunteers in securing the scene. Until this news was revealed there were no casualties and the cause of the fire was suspected to be an electrical short, but further developments are still under investigation by the police.
