Aker ASA, a giant company from Norway, through Seetee decided to buy Bitcoin worth more than Rp. 800 billion. Seetee is a new subsidiary of Aker ASA, which focuses on the crypto asset industry. Their first step, which was announced last Monday (8/3/2021) is to buy as much as 1,170 BTC (US $ 58.5 million) Bitcoin or more than IDR800 billion. "Bitcoin is becoming part of our balance sheet, and our strategy is HODL," wrote Aker ASA on his website. Apart from buying Bitcoin, the company is looking to forge partnerships with key players in the blockchain-crypto-asset community at large. Seetee will partner with Bitcoin infrastructure provider Blockstream, led by Adam Back, and focus on Bitcoin mining operations involving Aker's industrial facilities, as well as a sidechain project developed by the Canadian company. #CryptoTrading
