Do you know..? One proof of the history of glory during the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda that is still left today is the Sri Rambai cannon. The gun is now positioned facing the sea at Fort Cornwallis, George Town, Penang, Malaysia. This heavy weapon, the pride of Sultan Iskandar Muda, was once used by Francis Light in 1786 AD to defend Penang Island from enemy attacks. On the back of the Sri Rumbai cannon there is an engraving in Jawi writing which reads: Our Sulthan prisoner Sri Sulthan Perkasa Alam Johan Sovereign orders Orang Kaya Sri Maharaja to the Commander and Orang Kaya Laksamana and Orang Kaya Lela Wangsa will rampage to Johor Sanat 1023 H (1613 AD) . #NoiseCash
