Information gathered from a witness who rented the house on behalf of Riski, 28 years old, working in sales, stated that he was selling snacks in front of his rented house (snacks) but was surprised by a fire beside his rented house by a resident who crossed the road and the fire almost burned the ceiling of the rental house. It is known that this fire occurred because the unused mattress caught fire, but the origin of the fire, the witness did not know for sure because the mattress had been outside for a long time and planned to be disposed of in a garbage dump. Furthermore, the witness and local residents tried to help with makeshift tools and contacted the fire department. Based on fire information received via emergency telephone 0651 - 113 at 13.20 WIB, Heru Triwijanarko S.STP, M.Si as Plt. The head of the Banda Aceh City Fire and Rescue Service (DPKP) assigned a mobile picket officer to deploy 1 unit of the mesra intersection post which arrived at 13.26 WIB.
