Yesterday I read a post about the launch of the Nigeria digital currency e-naira being promoted on Tweeter, a platform the federal government of Nigeria banned some months ago. The argument was that, how can they use a platform they banned to promote their initiative and product? Today, I saw in a report by the central bank governor debunking the Tweeter's post to be the work of fraudsters trying to use to screw the innocent people and deflaud them. According to the central bank report, the Apex bank has no Tweeter account and has not made any publication in that medium. The public are therefore advise to disregard any post made on any Tweeter handle.
