I discussed in the article valid reasons why most graduates today are poor. I don't think anyone can dispute the fact that graduates today are facing a stricter job market. But what can we say is the cause of most graduate unemployment today? One of my valid arguments in response to the above question is too much relying on certificates and degrees rather than skills and innovativeness. Most people go to school just for the sake of getting a certificate with which they might get a job but only for them to come out of school and face a different world where certificates and degrees are no longer much a consideration for success. Today's job market needs skills and innovation, so those who have these are the ones who win in the modern world job market.
