It's kinda difficult here right now, I have been trying to add SmartBCH network to my MetaMask chrome extension on my PC for over three days now, the system keep telling me couldn't fetch chain ID. I have had to uninstalled the first I downloaded and redownload the newest version yet it keeps giving me the same result. I wanted to see if I could mint some FATCAT NFT and upgrade my lawpunk NFT tonight.

Strange, I run that server and it has been quite stable for users. I use it as my primary and there have been no outages lately. Maybe you have an extra space, or some funny character?
The problem is with the RPC URL if you've have been using the first, try the second one.
