When you eat you don't talk, but when you talk you can eat. Why? Here is it, During eating, your senses are control by the taste and feeling of the meal you are eating, your sense of speech won't work properly at that time because eating is in total control, and if you try to talk along you bite your tongue because the control sense is all involved in the eating. But when you are talking you can eat because talking don't have power to stop the eating function. Still confused?
