Can you believe the image the bush part is where I am walking in right now? After the early morning meeting today, I decided to visit my home town primarily to inspect my building project because I will be resuming work on it this December. Shockingly to me, the road that leads to the site has been damaged by gully erosion beyond repair and no longer passable by automobiles. I packed my car by the main road and decided to walk the road by foot. As you can see from the picture the road is almost covered by bush. I was very discouraged to see the road like this, the last time I visited was 7 months ago and the road was good to drive in then. I don't know how how I will manage to continue the project in this condition of the road. Although there are other building projects going on in the area with most of them completed already, I am seeing this as a hindrance to my plan in this December. One of the men in the area we spoke with told us they are making a contribution to hire a tractor to upgrade the road any time soon. Not until that is done I don't think I can do anything there for now. However, the boys in the area wouldn't let me go easily as they want something for breakfast, and with joy I gave them something good enough to go round between them. Some of the boys are people I grew up together with when I was still staying in the village years back. With that in mind I couldn't so no to their request.
