Happiness is not an event. It’s a state of being. We often postpone happiness: when I find “the one,” when I get that promotion, when I go on vacation, when I lose gain change something about myself. But the truth is, happiness doesn’t live in the future, and not even in the past. It lives here. Now. In the moment you sip your favorite coffee. In a friend’s laughter. In sunlight warming your face. In gratitude for what you already have. Happiness isn’t a finish line. It’s the path. And you’re already on it.
