Being Grateful and Optimistic

Magandang Buhay, Read Stars! How is life treating you so far today? I hope everything is well with you :)
There is a current contest on the other platform and the first question is this:
"What are you most grateful for right now?"
For me, it doesn't really need deep thinking to be able to answer this. With all that has happened in the past year, I am just happy that my loved ones and I are still breathing, loving, smiling, laughing, and talking to this very day and in the best of health too. So I say that this life itself and everything else among all others, is what I am truly grateful for right now.
We have been given another chance to see the world in a different light and to live a worthy life and I hope we do that because life is definitely precious. This isn't something we can buy or bargain somewhere else. It is a privilege we have been given and it should not be wasted because once it is lost, there are no second chances.
Life has been generally beautiful and great despite the many difficult times in the previous year. And I am absolutely grateful for the graces and mercies from the Heavens that have gotten us through the tough times.
"We have to fill our hearts with gratitude. Gratitude makes everything that we have more than enough." - Susan L. Taylor
The second challenge calls for us to share one nice thing about ourselves.
Quite challenging but let me say that I could be the nicest person you would ever meet. Too nice in fact, that I would be saying yes to you or to anyone else even when I should say no. I just don't want to offend you or anybody else so I say 'yes' with whatever you would ask.
Common! Just stop! LOL!
Ahaha, that actually was me before. I have learned and changed though and I know when to say NO for my own good. And I tell you it feels good because it keeps us away from minding too much about what other people think or say about us.
So what then can I really say about myself?
That I am grateful and more positive than I ever was before. I learned along the way to always try to find something good out of every circumstance even when they are quite unfavorable to me.
I fall down on my knees too, cry and lament but I don't turn my gloomy days into weeks or months. I try to get out of them as soon as I can and not let problems and challenges get the better of me. I keep my perspectives mostly positive so I am too.
So what are you grateful for and what can you say about yourself?
Do share in the comment box or feel free to write an article too :)
Thank you and until then, be happy and be the beautiful YOU! Cheers!

Forever grateful, as long we still living and breathing we should always be a grateful soul.
