Hlw everyone, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also well.

You all know that there are more or less Bengali in almost every country in the world. In the world all Bengali are Bengali but not all Bengalis are Bangladeshi. Today I want to share some things about this topic with you.

In terms of language: Bengali is a native language of the Bengali region of the Indian subcontinent. It belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-Iranian language. The language is about 1200 years old. It is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, with Rabindranath, Saratchandra and Satyajit contributing their talents to the formation of many great rich literary heritages.

On the other hand, Bangladeshi is a word which means living in Bengal and the state language of this country is Bengali.

But then a question arose- what is Bengali?

The term ‘Bangla’ can be interpreted as land as a gift to the Ganga-Brahmaputra-Meghna (GBM) delta system. It has waterlogging by Chittagong or Chatga rivers like Feni which is not connected to GBM.

At present Bengal consists of local areas of Bangladesh, West Bengal of India and South Assam. The nationality of Bengalis is Bengali but the nationality of Bangladeshis is that they are Bangladeshis.

Influence of Bengalis and Bangladeshis in the culture of the country: The influence of Hindu Bengalis is more in Bengali culture. But there are some differences in different countries. There is a difference between them. In terms of food, even though Bengalis are Bengalis in fish and rice, Indian Bengalis eat more mutton and avoid beef. On the other hand, Bengalis in Bangladesh prefer to eat beef. Bangladeshi Bengalis visit India more. But Indian Bengalis do not visit Bangladesh much. In fact, they mostly visit for art or business purposes.

In terms of religion: Bangladesh also has the highest number of Muslim Bangladeshis. About 80% of the people in the country are Muslim Bengalis. The rest are Hindus, Christians and Buddhists. Their state language is not Bengali. Considering all the above aspects, it can be said that all Bengalis are Bengali but not all Bengalis are Bangladeshi.

Thank you all very much for taking time to read my article.I hope you will share your views with me and I am also very happy to share article with you.

Stay well, stay safe.

Bye
