Destiny Destroyers Destiny is your purpose in life as ordained or predestined by God. God has already completed and concluded your destiny. No one is predestined by God to fail unless you put yourself to shame. Those whose destiny is of God know no shame. Everyone that's called of God is a warrior. Put on the whole amour of God. (Ezekiel 6) God purpose for your life is to rule. Anything God says must not fall to the ground will not fall. Genesis 1:28 The original man created by God was a blessed man, victorious, advantaged, an extension of heaven on earth, not a mediocre. (Genesis 3:1-6) SIN is the destroyer of destiny. As soon as Eve sinned, the original destiny of man was changed. a) people are not after your today but after your future. b) they have third eye, they know your tomorrow, they read your star, they know your glory. THINGS THAT CAN DESTROY ONE'S DESTINY 1. Household enemies (Judges 15:12) Enemies from outside cannot hold you down but your household enemy knows how to bind you. Be careful how you present yourself. This is because once this household enemy notice you are aspiring high, they can bring you down to a pauper. Live a reserved life. A life that doesn't blow a trumpet. Household enemies don't want you to be the star God wants you to be. 2. Demonic flatterers They can easily destroy your destiny. The say things that you are not (flattery). They over blow things that is not and it can get into the heads of the person. A woman faltterd David against Saul 1 Samuel 18. 3. Evil wishes (John 5:14-16) They want to kill you, or allow you to get out of situations. They are happy seeing you suffer. They are angry when God sends someone to help you. They can kill for gppd things you have done. 4. Destiny diverters (Genesis 39:2-8) Portiphar's wanted to divert Joseph's destiny. Destiny diverters are persistent until they get you. They can come in any form. Like a God to you or like your saviour who has come to help you. Be careful of the gifts you receive from people. You need to be sensitive in the spirit to identify them. 5. Evil convenant and curses. Genesis 3:1 These convenants are difficult to keep and so when you break curse come. Everywhere that there is convenant or curses, there are spirits. 6. Evil dedication How were you dedicated? You can deal with hijacked destiny from childhold. You must discover for you to recover 7. The Spirit of Herod (Matthew 2) This is the spirit of no other king but me. Killing every other kings at infants, killing glory, good things, destiny of someone at infancy. WHAT TO DO TO HAVE VICTORY OVER DESTINY DESTROYERS 1. First of all discover your God given purpose for your life. Romans 8:28, Matthew 6:23 Come to God first, relate with Him and all His promises will work for you. 2. Makeup your mind to defend your mandate/destiny 3. Stay connected to the source of the purpose (God) Your personal relationship with God matters. You need to fight to take your destiny by force. Pray in tongues when the enemy takes you unaware or faced with unknown challenges. PRAY THESE PRAYER POINTS 1. Declare 'I can be better than this, this is not me. I am a glorious man, I am blessed and that glory I will manifest 2. Lord have mercy on me, my family, my parents, for whatever convenant they must have entered that is holding my destiny, have mercy. 3. Father, send your angels to scatter all that the enemy has taken in Jesus Name. 4. I recover my destiny from wherever they have been buried in Jesus Name.

Pulse of the Nation. Penultimate weeks, social media was agog with the statement credited to the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu about the "stoning" of any South Eastern politician who is doing nothing to ward off the incursion of the killer herdsmen into the Igbo heartland. Yes, Ohamadike in his passing remarks in Radio Biafra London literally mentioned Chief Nnia Nwodo, though, a statement which he withdrew amidst pleadings and intervention from Chief Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. Since then some Igbo Facebook warriors had taken it upon themselves to taunt Mazi Kanu and IPOB, even as none of those talking these ills against them(Kanu and IPOB) has any Igbo organisation being championed in their names. I have never advocated against criticising IPOB or Mazi Kanu of any kind. NO, FAR FROM THAT! I comfortably enjoy any CRITICISM being levied against IPOB if it is tailored towards drumming up support and corrections but for the ones rooting for political correctness and intellectual bullshit, I hate to align with them. The anger in me now is that when we thought the issues that lead IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu into pouring their uncalled venoms against some Igbo leaders had been put on the table of dialogue by some Igbo organisations, some of us here in Facebook are unashamedly berating IPOB and indirectly NdiIgbo as a whole in the open against the Igbo adage of "chasing a Kite away before blaming a chick🐥" If we, Ndigbo decide to say it all about ourselves, nobody should murmur when a stranger spit in our face. Meanwhile, I responded to Obinna Osagwu this morning, who, against the nature of an Igbo man, continues to maintain his bullied stand against IPOB even when every Igbo man is activating the "ọṅụrụ ube nwanne ebena akwa" mantra. 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 Obinna Osuagwu, I followed this your very post line by line, sentence by sentence and finally, paragraph by paragraph, but to the end point, you came readily pontificating, brick batting, up braiding and all the innuendos you could muster up! When would we outlive this pouring of open venoms on ourselves? Yes, before now there was MASSOB that's ably led by chief Ralph Uwazulike which was equally bullied by some South Eastern governors. Apart from some Igbo youths who tagged alongside Uwazulike, and Barrister Uche Okwukwu who singlehandedly had been appearing in all the whole courts where MASSOB members were arraigned for prosecutions, some able-bodied Igbo youths with the same mindset like you, Obinna had literally took the backseats, breathing heavy tantrums and bitter criticisms on them. Besides, Barrister Benjamin Onwuka's Biafra Zionist Movement was not spared either by your likes. Barr Onwuka was pilloried and lampooned for attempting to hoist the Biafra flag and to subsequently announce the take off of the Biafra Republic at Enugwu state Radio station. Even as laughable his efforts could be, one is expected to levy a huge dose of sympathy on him as this was the one who was desirous of getting his people out of the present Nigerian political quagmire we are in now. But against all odds, you Obinna rallied your likes with same "intellectual" golden biros to make caricature of his efforts. One point cleverly sift out of your analysis about the Biafran agitation which is peopled by the youths is your "somewhat" ignorance about the pre colonial administration of NdiIgbo. Yes, highsight into the pre-colonial political development of NdiIgbo showed that "age-grade" (youths) played significant roles in the build-up to Igbo political administrations in Nigeria. The inputs of this youth group were required in major issues affecting NdiIgbo as a people. Elders were not expected to execute some village social functions, hence the age grade is seen as the fulcrum of social change. Banishment of any wrongdoer, clearing of village stream and all that were done by this age grade. Now, one wonders what informed the barrage of criticism pulling against IPOB by a few who don't even know its formation! Like the pre colonial Igbo age grade which stood against anything evil, IPOB stands to fill in the gap in this present day. Yes, whenever an elder is critiqued just for the good of all, it shouldn't be seen as a sign of disrespect rather it ought to be seen as a phenomenon for public good. Additionally, it is even funny and out of place for one to come in the open to condemn IPOB just for the sake of initiating a process of shaming any political office holder who stands against the progress of NdiIgbo. If in the prevailing circumstances, the Indigenous People Of Biafra( IPOB) continues to moderate its activities in an environment of peace against any person or persons who undermine(s) the peace and progress of NdiIgbo, I readily give my blessing.

Mouth odour There's always that one colleague that can keep u laughing again and again until all work is done No matter how hectic, stressful and risky d shift maybe. Such is Bro. Bayo( not real name), although today was d first day we happened to be on d same shift. I couldn't help it but laughed to my ribs forgetting d fear of coronavirus. How, d story began: We came to start our normal shift but learnt that moment that we will all have to be on mask because everyone is on self isolation due to d confirmed coronavirus case. Hence we all had to use PPE especially facemask. And behold the discovery- Mouth Odour. Conversation: Believe me, mouth odour is also a big issue to deal with. Advantages of mouth odour( According to Bayo: 1. It gives you victory over any auguments. 2. No one speaks when you open ur mouth to speak.( Even d devil respect u wen u speak depending on how deep the mouth odour is) * Some funny things about people with mouth odour is that: * They gossip too much * They will always want to tell u something in ur ears! * They always have something to say either question or contribution ( you know urself) They ensure their mouth is wide open wen speaking. Bro/Sis, wen u observed that ur friend either boyfriend or girlfriend or even ur spouse often offer u TomTom or sweet or wen ur spouse often refused to kiss u, try and get his/her msg to u ! I didn't said u av mouth odour but u can simply take this test called facemask test(According to Bayo's discovery) Nothing is as strong as the knowledge u discovered urself. Now mouth odour is also called bad breath. Bad breath, medically called halitosis, can result from poor dental health habits and may be a sign of other health problems. Bad breath can also be made worse by the types of foods you eat and other unhealthy lifestyle habits. How Does What You Eat Affect Breath? Basically, all the food eaten begins to be broken down in your mouth. If you eat foods with strong odors (such as garlic or onions), brushing and flossing -- even mouthwash -- merely covers up the odor temporarily. The odor will not go away completely until the foods have passed through your body. Why Do Poor Habits Cause Bad Breath? If you don't brush and floss teeth daily, food particles can remain in your mouth, promoting bacterial growth between teeth, around the gums, and on the tongue. This causes bad breath. The truth be told; mouth will always like sweet things! Even I too love sweet things. So, how do we deal with this mouth perfume before it embarrasses us? 1. Brush and floss ur mouth more often. 2. Rinse ur mouth out especially after taking something sweet. 3.Scrape ur tongue. 4. Avoid foods that sour ur breath. 5. Kick the tobacco habit. 6. Skip after-dinner mints and chew sugarless gum. 7. Keep ur gums healthy. 8. Moisten ur mouth. 9. See ur physician. (You can contact Ishaya Alheri or Esther Arinze for one of the oriflame mouth odour products) 10. Stop gossiping. To end the brief lecture guess who is Bayo! Funny enough Bro Bayo is you. Yes! You reading my post now. Oya smell ur mouth urself, is it palatable? Now, stand up and go brush ur teeth!

Legacy of Pennsylvania America has always been defined by its many crises, some of which are mild. Mild in the sense that however condescending, some crises moments lack the capacity to extinguish the ideals at the heart and soul of America. However, there have been defining moments in history, a make-or-break moment when America was at a cross-road, such that if she failed to get it right, she might have gone in the way of the wind. A look into history strongly indicates the saving grace each time was the rise of a leader that defies the odds, setting America again on the righteous path by upholding without reservation the fundamental ideals of the Founding Fathers that “All Men are Free and Equal Under God”. And whenever America can locate such men and women ready not to back-off from upholding the fundamental principles, America surmounted her crisis no matter the odds. For instance, Pennsylvania has been at the heart of controversies trailing the US Presidential election. The Keystone State has been projected as having a long history of electoral fraud and corruption. This flawed image is becoming overwhelming and could erode from the minds of many Americans and watchers around the world the symbolic pride of place that Pennsylvania holds in America’s rich political history. The truth is America is much more than a country. America is an idea. An idea inspired by the founding fathers, which gave birth to a nation and a dream, not just for the immediate inhabitants of its territory but the ideals the founding fathers stood for has been the beacon of hope and a point of reference for the world for well over 300 years. Incidentally, William Penn and indeed Pennsylvania remain at the centre of it all. When in 1681, King Charles II reportedly relinquish his North American landholding to William Penn, some argued it was in payment of a debt the King owed William Penn’s father, Admiral William Penn, a British politician and member of the House of Commons between 1660 and 1670. The Senior William, apart from being a Vice Admiral at different times during the Thirty Years War in Europe, also played a crucial role in the restoration of King Charles II as the King of Great Britain. However, even though William Penn served briefly in the military, he chose not to build on his father’s military legacies and political privileges. Rather he primed himself to fight religious discrimination in England. He was particular about the Quakers founded by George Fox. He eventually became a full-fledged Quaker and used his privileged position to fight the suppression of the Quakers under the mantra of “All Men Are Equal Under God.” His constant confrontations with the authorities led to his expulsion from the University of Oxford for “religious non-conformity.” However, it was not only the authorities that appeared not to be in sync with Penn’s religious beliefs and practices, his father, Admiral William Penn was equally enraged by his son’s frequent confrontations with the “Crown” on issues of religious liberty. And his efforts to convince him to back-off were unfruitful. As a result and for fear of his son putting his elite position in jeopardy, Admiral Penn reportedly disowned William Penn and evicted him from his house, denying him his inheritance at the time. However, the homeless William Penn remained resilient even though he was reportedly imprisoned on several occasions for preaching on the streets of London. But as providence would have it, he was said to have successfully negotiated a deal with King Charles II who surrendered to William Penn his large expanse of land of about 45,000 square miles in the present-day Pennsylvania and Delaware. Thus, making Penn the “world’s largest private landowner” at the time. This singular action opened a new opportunity for mass immigration of the Quakers to the New Land, where they could have the freedom to worship their God withoutI hold the view that America can only be overwhelmed by the threats of extinction when there is total complacency in the land and torch of liberty is not raised high enough for all to see and derive strength from history. But as long as there is that flicker of light bright enough for true patriots to congregate around, it does not matter the odds, America always Triumphs. And in President Trump, America has located much more than a flicker. In President Trump, America has been endued with a Tsunami so boisterous that has it has never seized to overwhelm the odds these past four years. Which is why I know that when the whole hysteria is over and the dust settles those throwing tantrums will realise that America has shaded her skin yet again, and they are forever confined to the ash-heap of history, as new patriots emerge and take their place. As for me, whenever l took a meal of Quaker Oats and sight the incredible image of William Penn l remember the fighting spirit of America. I have no doubt Pennsylvania still signifies that spirit and will be decisive in preserving the ideals the Founding Fathers stood and fought for, ensuring that justice and fairness reign supreme in the 2020 Presidential Election so that America will continue to bear the torch of liberty loud and clear for the whole world. Long Live William Penn Long Live Pennsylvania Long Live United States

My encounter with a client today My colleague called me yesterday morning and pleaded I helped him check out a property he wanted to buy for a client. He had gone there himself to meet with the young man who was selling and had also sent people to inspect it too. But since I was around, it won't hurt to use my eyes as well. He sent me the address and contact of the vendor. I called, introduced myself and told him I was on my way to the house. The young man told me to call him as soon as I got to the shop downstairs in the building. He specifically told me not to tell anyone why I am around because according to him, he didn't want people getting interested since he was about to seal the deal with my colleague. When I got there, I called him and he asked me to wait for some minutes. The son of Nebu used the opportunity to look around the property and observe its state. When I returned to the shop, I saw an elderly man had come to eat so I greeted him and sat down. Some minutes later, the young man joined me and greeted the old man as his father. I introduced myself again and this time around, his father heard me. His father then asked him who I was and he said it was not important. Then the man said. "Chibuike hope you've not brought another person to buy my house? Chibuike what are you doing with a lawyer?" He lashed out at his father and told him the building is going to be his inheritance and he will do whatever he wants with it. He bluntly told his father to go and die and stop disturbing him. I was shocked! Because it was an exchange between father and son, I tried my best to keep calm while the woman who owned the shop tried to calm the young man down. His father couldn't say past few words and focused on his food. The young man kept cursing him and shouting. In that moment, I knew something was wrong. After shouting at his father, he took me around the property and I asked him questions about the title documents, whether any litigation was ongoing and if his father is still the legal owner of the property. He told me there was not going to be a problem and whenever my colleague was ready to execute the contract, he would provide everything we needed. Towards the end of our tour his phone rang and he excused himself, telling me to greet my colleague as he hoped to conclude talks with him. I bid him farewell as he raced out while I returned to the shop. Luckily, the old man was still there. I sat down, greeted him again and noticed tiny tears had circled around his eyes. I can only imagine the emotional pains he was going through. He told me the property was not for sale and he had stopped his son from selling that house to two other people in the past. The woman at the shop corroborated his story and talked about how the young man has refused to be useful to himself, causing one problem after another for his aged father. I thanked the man and left. I called my colleague and told him everything that transpired and asked if he was aware of it. He told me he had his reservations especially with the property documents he sighted and that was why he had not sealed the deal. "Well, now you have this new information. It is up to you to decide what to do with it." He thanked me. Till now, I couldn't stop thinking about that man and his father which is why I decided to share. The old man must've worked so hard to create wealth and just somehow, this son of his became a project that failed. We all can look around us and notice someone who acts like this young man in his mid-thirties. I just hope this man doesn't die of HBP or something else. This is a lesson worth sharing with your friends and loved ones; while you can, push and give everyone the opportunity to build their own life. Some people will be a lost case but you have to try. I just hope this young man doesn't succeed in killing his father just to be sure he sells off anything he can lay his hands on. And may God help us to bear children who will listen to us, grow up to have to have a beautiful life and become a strong source of joy for us. Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

A look at criminal justice system in Nigeria I once had great interest in criminal litigation and the criminal justice system of Nigeria. In fact when my former boss appraised my skill set and placed me rightly in his IT, IP and legal research team, I made a fuss. Why doesn't he want me to be out there as a criminal defence attorney? He looked me dead in the eyes and told me I'll come back one day to thank him for putting me in my place. That didn't take long. Couple of weeks later, I was filing some processes at the Yaba Magistrate Court and a colleague called me to hold a brief for him as he was already on his way to court that afternoon. When I walked in, the court was jam-packed with people. Lucky enough, I am a lawyer and a plain cloth learned colleague gave up his seat for me when he saw the files I was carrying. "Bros sit here let me rush outside and attend to something. You owe me one now." I thanked him. A state counsel was addressing the court. I saw him first during my externship at the Ministry of Justice Lagos and I've seen him couple of times in court. That day, he had about 15 different case files in front of him. He was the only one present for the state. This prosecuting counsel was sweating profusely as he tried to flip through his files and get the right file for each person called up. Then this young boy of 19 years was called up and he went into the dock. No lawyer was representing him. The magistrate waited for the prosecuting counsel to address the court but he kept flipping through his files, apparently searching for the boy's files. When the magistrate called his attention to stop wasting the time of the court, he looked up and said these words. "Your Honour, I can't find his file, but I'm sure he must've done something. That's why he is here. The IPO should be around. I think the boy broke the windscreen of a car during their cult fight." The magistrate was visibly infuriated but she kept her cool. She asked the boy how long he has been in prison and the lad replied; two months. The owner of the said car was in court and Her Honour asked the man if the boy standing inside that dock was one of the boys who broke his glass during the street cult fight. "Madam, true to God, I don't know. But I saw him there when I arrived. So I called Police to arrest him." There was an uproar in court. Her Honour asked the boy if he was aware of any cult fight that day. It seemed she descended into the arena since the prosecuting counsel was overburdened and couldn't even find the boy's files in his stack. The lad was crying and couldn't say a word. It took the strong admonition of Her Honour before he said few words amidst sobs. He was sent out to buy bread by his boss from their mechanic shop. He saw the broken windscreen and stopped to see what had happened when men picked him up and threw him in a Police van. There was pin drop silence in court and I didn't know when I spoke out loud. "This is a travesty!" The magistrate gave me a stern look and I quickly apologised. The prosecuting counsel was asked if he had anything to say and he pointed towards the IPO and the man who brought the complaint to the Police. The man who brought the compliant said he didn't see the boy break his glass and no ground to suspect him. The IPO said the same thing, but insisted the boy had criminal tendency, pointing at his eyes and the bruises on his body. Who wouldn't have bruises after being tortured for weeks? Her Honour lambasted the prosecuting counsel and IPO. The lawyers in court that afternoon were visibly choking with anger that the boy spent two months behind bars for something that wasn't distantly related to him. The man whose car was damaged stood beside the dock with pictures of his damaged car and told the magistrate he really doesn't want to go on again with the case. He said the officers collected money from him and promised to nail the culprits but that was the opposite right there. The young boy inside the dock was still crying. I was shaking my head and tiny tears gathered around my eyes. Her Honour dismissed the case and ordered for the boy to be released. The elderly women who came to court that day were all shedding tears. Her Honour had to take a 30 minutes break. My colleague showed up during the time. There is a big problem with our institutions in this nation. Justice cannot be done when facts, evidence and intelligence gathering is not well handled. For many days, I couldn't sleep well as my head kept replaying that court sitting. "Bros, it could've been anybody that day beside that car." That event and some others made me lose complete interest in criminal litigation and cemented my love for IT and IP Law. Asides the reward for the latter being more, I get to invest my resources in futuristic tech across the globe. A lot of things about here is broken, but we are willing to fix them, one problem at a time. Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

Managing Emotions You may feel you are a hard person till it happens to you and you realize how vulnerable you are. I felt same for myself as well. I had a friend who was really close to me and we shared alot together. I don't enjoy having any issues with my close friends because they are a handful; less than 10 people. And I try to keep tabs on them and show genuine interest in their lives. One of them started feeling funky one certain time and wanted more than just friendship; she wanted a relationship. She knew it was not possible, but noticing my fondness for her, she decided to take advantage of that and perhaps punish me for my personal decision on declining a relationship. So she provoked me on purpose and walked away. I was angry and sad at the same time, but I controlled my temper. I'm rarely moved to anger for a lot of reasons, so I just let it be. But a funny thing happened the next morning. I woke up very early around 2:00am, sat at the edge of my bed and couldn't stop thinking why she had to behave the way she did. I was so angry that I wanted to call her, but I didn't. I simply packed half of the clothes in my wardrobe I've not worn in a while and went to wash them. By the time I was done washing, I felt sleepy and went to sleep again. It was a Saturday. When I woke up, I realized I was still thinking about what she did and couldn't understand why she had to do that. So I packed all the already washed clothes and this time around, stared rewashing them with my hands to pass time for a longer period. LOL! Son of Nebu and things have been doing a long time ago. But that never worked. So I had to stop running away from confronting my emotions. I sat down and considered what might've been going through her mind when she did what she did. That was when I started realizing I might've been the one who brought home the ant infested firewood into my house. By giving her more attention than my other friends even in their presence, she felt elevated and special. She got more gifts than others too and even if she does something really bad, I rarely got angry. Unlike how I am mean at confronting others. And having felt that way, she felt there was no other way to go than a relationship. But when I was not on the same page, it shattered her and made her feel like she was not enough for me. So I decided to call her and apologize because I realized I made her feel a lot of things I was not ready to reciprocate. I did. We have long moved past those days, changed cities and rarely keep in touch these days. But I learnt something very important from what happened between us; if you're not ready to put someone in a position in your life, don't make them feel that way. Like they say, don't let your body language suggest you really want more when you don't. I also learnt it is important to speak up. When it comes to emotions or feelings, it is never static. You need to say what you feel in very clear words to help the other person understand what you have in your mind. That is why we need words of reassurance from our loved ones intermittently to remind us we are loved, valued, cherished and respected. So here's a lesson worth sharing with your friends and loved ones; as often as you can, communicate how you feel and if someone is doing things you're not comfortable with, let them know and if need be, distance yourself from them till you feel better. Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

Life in Lagos Nigeria I thank for God for his blessings and I believe this testimony my friend shared with me awhile ago can be put to writing here. 💚 An older friend of mine invited me for lunch. He is always edified by the way I share my real life experiences. So he wanted to let me in on a little of his personal journey and testimony of God's goodness. This man wasn't born with any spoon, so don't worry about silver. When he first came to Lagos, he lived in a one bedroom apartment at Ikorodu, with 2 other guys like him. Daily hustling something. "I came to Lagos with my girlfriend too. We've been dating for like 3 years. She stayed with her aunty and was a receptionist at one company like that. Our dream was to make small money and get married." That was their plan. Money wasn't forth coming, so he pushed for the family land in the village to be sold. His siblings agreed and pressured their parents. After all, nobody had money to develop it. It was sold and he got 500k Naira as his share. He had a deal to close at Idumota which could change his fortunes for good. He was to pay cash for the deal. Year was 2005. "Son of Nebu, do you know what happened? By the way Beck, why do you even call yourself that? This boy sef." He withdrew 400k, got to the market but couldn't finalize the deal. It was past banking hours. So he had to go back with the money. "You know I live with guys and our room is always open because of heat. We barely had a sleeping space talk more of where to hide money. So I called my girlfriend and gave her the money to keep." That was the last I heard about my money. "Jesus! What do you mean sir?" "She kept telling me stories about the money. From she was attacked on her way home, to her aunty seizing the money. Story was plenty." "So what did you do?" I cried like a child. Someone later told me my then girlfriend rented a shop somewhere in town. I knew it was the money. When I confronted her, she threatened to report me to the Police that I raped her." "What?" "You see this Lagos Beck, I don't know the spirit that enters some people sometimes. People turn to vipers overnight, looking for who to suck without regards to any relationship or anything. I just prayed about it and left everything in God's hands." He was able to pick himself up and hustle hard. He was a man. About 5 years later, his ex-girlfriend started calling to plead for forgiveness because she's finding it hard to get married. All the men she deals with promises her marriage and breaks up with her just before they finalize everything. "Sir, did you place a curse on her?" "No o. I didn't. But Brro But bros, I cried. I cried like a child. Do you know what it means to be duped by someone you love? The pain is double. My God was fighting for me." "Did you forgive her?" "Yes I did. I prayed for her and told her I have forgiven her. She got married about one year after that. It wasn't easy, but God had already blessed me. I had nothing to lose by doing that." "Chai...you're such a kind hearted man Sir." All these times, his 3 years old son was struggling with his chocolates and plate of rice. When he noticed we have reduced our talk, he offered me one chocolate. His father smiled. "Bro, if you don't eat it, he won't leave you." And true to his father's words, he stood there looking at me. So I ate it. He smiled. "Watch and see what he does next", his father said. Our little man carried his plate of rice, kept it on my laps and opened his mouth. His father laughed. "Bro oya, he has paid you upfront so feed him. This boy sometimes behaves like an old man." We laughed. I carried his son and got to work. "I will join you guys soon, let me check on my wife at the study room. She has a presentation at her office tomorrow. Let me know how she's coming up with it." I nodded. Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

Tales of Nigeria parenting "I want to be a policeman!!!' he said gleefully" "Eh! Ha! Policeman ke? Yeh! Mo daran!" "You had better shut your mouth there, before I shut it for you !" Let's call him Sean. "Jesu! Ori awon ota mi buru" 🙆 Sean ki lon so lenu e yi" ( Jesus!, my enemies must suffer, Sean what are you saying from your mouth?) "Can't you hear all the things your mate's are saying?? Doctor, lawyer, engineer, chef, e.t.c" Other onlookers were looking at the mother's drama and were laughing. I even heard one saying "slap sense enter this im big head jare, he no serious" I was there smiling, mixed feelings. The Nigerian in me said a big fat NO, not with the situation on ground anyways. But the teacher in me, wanted to know why. I was full of admiration for the 4 year old. I didn't want to interfer, I wasn't the questioner. "Why would you like to be a police man of all professions in the world?" I heard the man asked the little boy again. Young man was already confused with Mama's drama. He didn't know what to expect from her when he speaks again. "Talk na! Of all jobs in the world , Tori oloun ! "( Of all jobs in the world for God's sake) Omoyi ma pa mi ( this child don't kill me) He kept mute. Couldn't talk. I was interested now. His self esteem have been tampered with and I won't take it That's not right ! I went closer, squat to his level so that I could see his face and he could see mine. I put my right hand on his shoulder and told him that's it's ok to speak up. I nodded again and urged him on. He did. He smiled, looked up at the questioner and I heard the most wonderful thing from s four year old! "I want to be a police man so that I can stop crimes and make everywhere a better place". I was dumbfounded, didn't know when I started clapping!! Others joined in the clap and you could see the joy on his face when he felt accepted! I wowed! No, I won't talk about how parents and our society sometimes force thier wills on thier kids. Not today. I only want you to see how at this little age, this young man could define his purpose! He knew what he wants and Why he wants it. He could have changed his mind after seeing his mother's and every onlookers reaction. But he believes that whatever he has to say as to why he wants to become a policeman, is valid. Yes , his dream is valid and that is what matters most to him! Dear onlooker, what defines you? To what purpose are you on earth?? Why do you wake up every morning?? Is there any drive?? Don't just be a "stroller" on earth! Define your day and allow God lead you!

Why I supported Trump in 2015 There has been claims and counter-claims in a lot of quarters as to why Donald J. Trump was the worst of two bad choices for Americans. While some believe Americans were outrightly stupid for voting Trump, some others believe he was a better option to Hillary. I was of the opinion that with Trump and Clinton on the cards, Americans were sandwiched between the devil and the deep blue sea. But I preferred Trump all the same! People thought I was stupid, but I had my reasons! 1. The world needs an American President right now, who is stupidly blunt and can for once in the life of America, say the truth to the world. We all have seen the hands of America behind conflicts in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq and a lot of other nations. This is a country that causes divisions in other countries and pretends as if they are problem solvers. For once, the world needs a President who is stupid enough not to be able to plot conspiracies that unsettle global peace. 2. America itself needs a President who is not from any institution. Institutions in America represents some crass decadence in societal morals and norms. Corrupt bailouts to financial institutions, corrupt political maneuvers etc...that country is at the time when a President who rode on the will of the people only is the best option for them. 3. The world at this time needs an American President who is more interested in Homeland America than the devilish intrusion of other country's privacy that America has become notorious for. 4. Clinton represented an America that believed in the freedom of every man, under the supervision of America. You are free when we say you are...you are not when we say you are not! Trump represents an America that bothers more about itself than the freedom of any man! Be free if you like, we will watch over our own freedom.... Trump's stand made more sense to me! 5. Clinton would have been a President who would continue giving Africans the toxic aid packages that have helped our leaders maintain their insensitivity and ignorance. They give us little grants, our leaders embezzle the funds; they run back to beg for more, America gives more and we keep being in servitude. Instead of finding complete solutions to our nagging problems, we are busy begging for crumbs. I see Trump snubbing most African leaders....when they can't get help, they will solve their own problems. I prefer this sort of President. 6. In Trump I see more prosperity for the global economy. Trump is no politician; he has no political gimmicks up his sleeve. He is a businessman and that means, his approach to leading the US will be that of opening up new business frontiers so Americans can prosper. He will be a core Capitalist President and that is good for the world. He pledged to battle China dominance of the global market....that will mean opening up factories in the US, strengthening bilateral trade relations (instead of arms and ammunitions relations) and re-entering the global market with renewed force. If America battles China (that is already providing cheap solutions) for market dominance, what do you think will happen to the global market? More deals from both ends; more prosperity for global market players! This is an opportunity for even a little boy like me. All in all, no matter how bad a President Donald Trump looks like he will become, when sandwiched between the devil and the deep blue sea, I will rather trust God and jump into the sea....afterall, when the Israelites trusted Him and ran from Pharaoh into the sea, He parted the red sea for them! If He could do it then, he'd do it again now....Trump will be a better President than everybody ever expected him to be! But now in 2020 a lot have changed, let's watch an see how it will end. Thanks for reading

Be helpful “I met the boy in black few months ago when he arrived here in Lagos. He often wore his traditional clothes to come out here and search for menial jobs to do. I liked him and took pity on him, so I bought this black polo and a jean for him. I sell memory cards of different sizes and I’m saving my money. We have become good friends and I am helping him to settle in well into the city. If anyone in this area comes around to intimidate him, I tell them to leave him alone. I’m smaller but in my head, I have enough strength of 600 people.” Always praying for them to succeed.

About last weekend The freezer became empty during the weekend and I wanted to cook, but pressing matters in the polity kept me busy. So that evening/night, I decided to cook and restock for some days, because I don't have strength to cook much this period. So I prepared; 2 pots of soup, 1 pot of turkey, 1 pot of white rice, 1 big pot of stew and 1 pot of beans. Frying plantain would be easier for me or I can leave Lightyboo to take care of that. I know I enjoy cooking, but midweek shopping for groceries and cooking is really stressful. Choi! I'm had to look for my glass of water as I have no strength left in my body that night.

What a friend This guy is nice. We became friends because of his funny and easy going nature. The ladies love him, and he loves a lot of them too. My friend has introduced three different ladies to me as his girlfriend within a space of two months. I asked him why. "Son of Nebu, we need to keep the engine running from all angles. Do you care for one babe? I can arrange for you." "No thanks." "Beck Beck, my cool and shy guy." I laughed real hard. If only he knew how I run away from that type of wahala. He gave me the number of one of the ladies who I believed gave him tough time. So to make her believe he's for real, he had to seek my help. A little talk and joke here and there, the lady accepted him. But I warned him to be serious with her because this lady seems to be very deep into him. On Monday, my friend sent me a chat that the lady was asking for 15k Naira to repay the screen of her phone. "MBN abeg what should I do?" "Shebi I told you to take this lady seriously or drop the rest, but your hands are full." "Forget advice Beck, what should I do concerning this 15k Naira, and I don't want to lose this babe. Beck the way she handles me, I swear it's magic." I could see he wasn't ready to change. So I asked him if I could ask another friend for advice on the matter. "Oh sure Beck, you can ask anybody." So I screen grabbed the 15k part of our convo and sent it to the lady who made the request. I told her the boyfriend is asking me if he should give her the money. Sharp babe. "Beck I actually need 13k but I just made it a round number to 15k. Just tell him to give me the money that I need it badly. You'll receive your share too." "How much?" "1k Naira recharge card." I chatted my friend and told him to give the lady the money she requested for it. After all she treats him very well. "Nawaoo Beck, this type of expenses this month. I don't understand o." "Chop off your preek or keep it one place if you don't understand." "Mad man...abeg shift." After 3 hours, the lady sent my recharge card to me. He is happy. She is happy. I am happy. Everybody is happy. Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

Experience As a child growing up, my civil servant mum made sure a lot of things followed a particular routine and that included early morning devotion by 5:00am before she leaves for morning mass. The issue here was getting me to sleep early. Since I became conscious as a human, I have remained a night crawler, going to bed really late and waking up early. I still get to function well with minimal sleep but my elder sister is always on my neck till date. She keeps telling me how I need to get more sleep as a growing child...a child in his late twenties. To my fellow last borns, we never really grow up in their eyes. Back then, If my mum succeeds in getting me to lie in bed, then I can sleep early. But she also has a way of making this hard sometimes. Around 1:00am, she'll enter the children's room to kill mosquitoes. And surely like most mothers, she doesn't do it silently. While sending down a heavy slap on my arm, back or shoulder depending on where the blood sucking mosquito perched, she would utter comforting words to me. "Nnaa ndo o. This mosquito won't allow my child to sleep well." "But mummy you're beating me." "No Somtochukwu, I'm beating the mosquito." She is often kind not to switch on the light, but she comes in with her own unique torchlight. So after killing the mosquitoes, she stays back for some minutes to survey the room. This is where she will observe I have not removed the cobwebs in the room and how I've not cleaned the room in 600 years. Then she'll get a broom and try to do it right in the middle of the night. I would then have to wake up again and plead with her not to stress herself and promise to do it first thing in the morning. After the above encounter, I don't need the spirits to tell me to sleep because once it is 4:00am, mum would start parading the house with her unique early morning songs. You'll just know time for morning devotion was getting close even if you're in the dreamland. She doesn't stress herself with waking me up. The son of Nebu already knows the normal thing. She starts singing and beating her homemade tambourine. Woe betide you if you don't get up and find your way to the sitting room. You'll be in her bad book for that day. One day, I had enough and wanted to revolt. So I hatched a plan. Half way into the morning devotion everyday, I would excuse myself and go to the toilet. I would lock the door from the inside and comfortably sleep off on the floor of the toilet. I only wake up when someone knocks on the door and then I would explain I was having a bad stomach ache. This plan was working for me until that blessed day. Like they say, one day for the owner of the house. I had excused myself as usual and entered the toilet to sleep. But then I didn't see the key inside the keyhole. I simply bolted the door and didn't care. I slept off and woke up after a rather unusual long time. I thought to myself; this one nobody came to knock today, hope all is well? I tried to open the toilet but I couldn't. I bolted and unbolted again but nothing. Chai! I became pensive and started knocking on the door, but nobody answered me. I knew I was in big trouble. I sat there sobbing till the door was opened and I rushed out. My mum was just looking at me. I didn't need a magician to tell me she had already caught up with me. I quickly apologised with a puppy like face. I stopped dodging morning devotions that day and many years later till now, whenever I am home for vacation or visits, I always join my mum no matter the time I went to bed. Why is the son of Nebu sharing this? Because it is important we realize that there are several ways we can teach lasting qualities and skills to our children. It is more effective showing them through actions, how good or bad a particular thing can be. My mother taught me a lesson without tongue lashing, arguing or beating me up. It was a simple experience that has lasted with me for over 17 years now and I've never forgotten it.

Show Kindness It took me about three weeks before he finally agreed to our meeting. For the sake of professional courtesy and my persistence, he decided to grant me an audience. I didn't want to give up easily. Everyone has been beaten hard this 2020 and personally, this meant a lot to me and I didn't want to lose it, so I was ready to try everything humanly possible. My meeting with him was for 11:00am but by 10:15am, I was already waiting in the reception area. I anxiously crossed my legs and put up a facade of confidence. I noticed the secretary was feeling a little bit uneasy in her chair and looked pale, despite her beautifully made up face. I struck up a conversation and asked her what the matter was but she told me it was nothing. After some minutes, a colleague of hers came out from an inner office and they were discussing in whispers but I managed to hear some of what they said. She had stained herself and needed a change of clothes. She was sick and on medication so it affected her flow. She never expected it. She wanted to rush home and back to the office but she had no money for Uber. Even her colleague didn't have enough when they checked the amount. This was where the son of Nebu stepped in. I couldn't leave their office as I was waiting for my appointment with their boss, so I offered to book Uber for her and take care of the cost. She hesitated at first but her colleague nudged her and she accepted my offer. I told her to make sure the Uber driver won't end the ride when she got home. Since she won't waste time, let him keep it running, change destination and return to the office with her. She was super grateful. Some minutes after she left, I was called in for the meeting. Immediately I sat down and exchanged pleasantries, the man wasted no time in repeating everything he told me on phone. "Beck I told you this your proposal can't work. I can't sign this for you because I've promised this to another person and he paid much. Unless you're willing to pay more than him. I like you and that's why I'm being open with you and even agreed to this meeting. If not, you know me too well." I thanked him and we talked about random topics about our profession, tech, business, politics and other things to engage and soften his mind. After about 30 minutes in conversation, I raised the issue that brought me to his office again and he reaffirmed his stance. When I saw he wasn't going to change his mind, I put back the documents in my envelope and continued to chat with him. When I got notified the Uber has returned to the office, I bid him farewell and went out to pay the driver and head off. His secretary thanked me greatly for footing her bills and asked why I looked moody. I briefly explained everything to her and she smiled. "Give me your file and come back to the office with me." Without argument, I gave her the file and followed her like an obedient sheep. I was already tired from the back and forth talk I had with her boss. When we got back in, she told me to wait at the reception and she went into the man's office. About 10 minutes later, she came out smiling. Looking at the documents to be sure of my name, she called me. "Martin right? Barrister Martin. He has signed the documents. You can proceed with your plans." I didn't know what to say or how to react. I thanked her profusely and apologized for not asking her name all along. "What's your name, please pardon my manners." She told me there was no need for me to know her name. My kind gesture was all that mattered and it spoke volumes for me. That statement moved me deeply in my heart. I briefly went into the man's office, thanked him and came out. I offered to buy the secretary lunch whenever she wished and she agreed to take up the offer when next we see. Her words have remained evergreen in my heart and I shared this experience because of that. With your good deeds, doors will be opened for you even if you're the son of a nobody.

Life of MBN I didn't get to have much physical contact or experiences with people this year because of Covid, but Stanley sure put up a show before the lock down earlier this year. We worked together on reviewing the legal terms of a contract to be executed by a tech company and by the time I finished my part, he was yet to come through with his own. When I reached out to him, he was brooding about his 2 years romantic relationship that just ended. To avoid us getting axed for not meeting the deadline, I went over to his place to assist him. It was tough work but we finished around 1:00am and he said it was the perfect time to club. I declined, but he pleaded with me to join him so he could get his mind off the relationship palava. I agreed. Before we left his house, I dropped my wallet and had only ₦10,000 cash on me, just in case we needed to get suya or plastic Coca-Cola. You'll later understand why this decision caught up with me. The club was already bubbling when we arrived so it was difficult finding a spot. As I looked around, I exchanged gazes with a man who invited us to share his table. Three sitting spaces were free so we occupied two, leaving one for a lady who later joined us after some minutes. Music was loud for no reason but then again, I was in a club. Stanley wasted no time in grabbing a red cup and pouring from the man's wine with his shining teeth. He picked a stick of suya and seemed to get comfortable almost immediately. The man didn't mind and also invited me to join in the fun. The son of Nebu was sampling the beautiful maidens having the time of their lives so I was a bit preoccupied. Well, that was before the lady who joined us started twerking for the man and he tapped her ass at intervals. It was a joy to behold. I licked my lips for no reason and my eyes were filled with excitement and ideas. While I was focused on the lady, Stanley had gone out to scout for a lady companion and returned with one. He introduced me as his younger brother who came to Lagos to squat with him while I searched for admission. That boy is crazy! Stanley turned to me after 10 minutes and asked if I came out with any cash. I was surprised oga who dragged me to club didn't come out with more cash or card. He pleaded and pleaded till I gave him ₦5,000 from the ₦10,000 I had on me. He quickly gave it to the lady and told her to buy drinks. He promised to refund me once we returned to his house. The music was loud, so I communicated more with hand signs than words, unlike Stanley and the man beside me who welcomed us to share his table. They preferred to shout along with the music. I tapped the man and with hand sign, told him I approved of the lady's ass and her dancing prowess. He smiled and using hand sign as well, showed me three. I was surprised so I asked him, "Threesome? You want threesome?" He laughed and shook his head. Then he dragged me closer and spoke into my right ear. "Three kids. She has given birth to three kids for us. She's my wife. Today is our marriage anniversary. 10 years." Choi! I shouted and quickly apologized for my earlier comments and admiration of his wife but he waved it off. He said they're used to it and sometimes men even chyke her in his presence thinking they're siblings. It was at this point I noticed the wedding ring on their hands. His wife was just smiling. Meanwhile, I asked Stanley about his babe who went to buy drinks and she had not returned. He used his eyes to scan the club but he didn't see her. I told him maybe she went to use the restroom. I congratulated the couple on their anniversary and that explained maybe why the man welcomed us to share their drinks and suya, but I was still reeling from the shock of what just happened. The man noticed and tried to cheer me up by talking with me. Stanley even had to corner another babe to try rocking me but I didn't feel a thing no matter how much she tried. She got tired, called me werey and walked away. "Beck, seriously this babe is not coming back with the drinks ooo. Where she dey na?" I volunteered to join Stanley in looking for the lady around the club and we met her outside. She was talking with a man. We calmly approached her and Stanley requested to have a sidebar with her. She declined. "Talk wetin you wan talk here, I dey gist with person." Stanley asked her about the ₦5,000 for drinks and she told him she had no idea what he was talking about. I already knew how it would end if we went down that road. So I dragged Stanley away and told him to forget about it. I was in no mood for drama that early morning. We returned to the club and the couple still kept our space for us. The man's wife was now sleeping on his chest. We finished their remaining suya and drink. Before we left the club, I asked for the man's contact and he gave me his complimentary card. We've done a deal together and he is a perfect gentleman to the core. Till now, Stanley still complains about that ₦5,000. Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

You should never be the smartest person in the room For certain people to take, this may be a hard pill, but you can never be the smartest person in the world. I know this assertion would be scrutinized by a lot of you. After reading it, some of you would also get defensive. I stick by it, though, and I'm not the only one either. One of the most difficult career paths to follow is entrepreneurship. There would be a lot of entrepreneurs out there if it was easy. This isn't the case, though. Failure is inescapable with most individuals. So, it's no wonder that some entrepreneurs who make it through their first, sixth, and tenth company years are being greedy. It is hard to come up with business positive stories. And that these egos catch up with them inevitably and may become challenging. People don't like to recruit people who are better than them, regardless of their egos. Yet this is being achieved by some of the world's most revered pioneers. This is how Michael Dell utilizes his staff. Mark Zuckerberg is the same. Also, the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, knew this. When Jobs said, "It doesn't make sense to employ smart people and tell them what to do; we employ smart people so they can tell us what to do," he made one of the most insightful comments on handling talent. An organization could be based on the vision of one person, however, its workers maintain it. Since billionaires know that this is real, why is this not the norm for any business in every sector to hire? Good rulers know that accomplishment is not a one-person display. Growth, sustainability, and competitiveness are a team effort. Hire people who challenge barriers endlessly, shatter glass doors, and challenge you beyond your comfort zone. "If you're the most intelligent guy in the world, you're in the wrong place." Hold competition in the workforce beyond In industry, the rivalry is the company's pulse. This inspires politicians to aim for the impossible and to work more tirelessly to achieve their targets. Yet it is only possible to accomplish these targets when you have a skilled team standing alongside you. While a healthy sense of employee rivalry is normal, there should never be rivalries veiled between leaders and workers as egotism-yes, it happens even more than you might expect. It can compete with how they assign tasks and build a deeply unstable atmosphere if a leader is centered on how they look relative to others. A leader definitely also understands their capabilities, but they must still understand their weaknesses. This self-awareness is important in making sure they check their ego before work every day. If the creativity of your workers challenges you, instead of cultivating a cohesive team that works together to create a successful business, you decide to work against them. In other words, you'll end up being good in your own way. "Never recruit someone who knows little about what he is paid to do than you do." Hire them, let them ride Entrepreneurs also have a somewhat mistaken understanding of management. Good leaders don't recruit workers to tell them what to do, they recruit personalities from whom they can learn. Your job is not to tell an employee anything they need to know to do the job well; with this experience, they can already come to the table. Instead, developing an atmosphere that is conducive to their growth and progress is your duty. It should be your intention to recruit people and then let them soar. In no way does this compromise your experience and leadership skills. Strong workers actually do not need your continuous attention and assistance. Anyway, you do not have the time for that, since you need to free up your life so that you can concentrate on the big-picture duties of running a business. The world of business is not a position of greed. If you are not able to recruit people who are better than you, you can work twice as hard to get half as fast.

My Sister's husband Encounter with Nigeria police "I was wrapping the groundnuts I had just finished frying for sale when the call came in. It was a strange number and when I picked, it was to hear that my husband has been arrested. I asked to know what happened but the man only told me the name of the police station and dropped the call. In my confused state, I tried to figure out what he must have done. The only plausible reason was that he hit someone but even that was doubtful. He is old, his car is old and rickety too, as such, he can't drive at a speed that would knock someone down. I called my younger daughter and together we rushed down to the police station. We introduced ourselves and we were directed to the Investigative Police Officer(IPO). He told me they found a dead body with my husband. If not that I had a strong will, I would have fainted immediately. My husband was brought out and I asked him what happened. He told me he had just dropped off some passengers and was going back to the park when some young men blocked him and ordered him to stop. They were holding matchets and sticks. Two of them were carrying a young man who was bleeding. My husband was so scared and he couldn't do anything as they opened the back door, three of them got in including the wounded one. Another one got into the front seat and ordered my husband to drive. He said he just drove not even knowing where he was going. They had not gone very far when they sighted a police checkpoint ahead. Again, they ordered him to stop and before he knew what was happening, three of them jumped out of the car and ran leaving the wounded one behind. The policemen noticed what was happening and came forward. At that point, my husband was too shocked to give any explanation. One of the police men got in with him and ordered him to drive to the nearest hospital. The others followed in their van. Unfortunately, before they could get to the hospital, the young man died. That was how my husband was arrested for what he knew nothing about. By the time he finished his story, I was already crying. We had never been in that kind of situation before. We had not even been in a police station before so I had no idea what to do. I had no money, and no family to call. Later that night, the DPO said the case was beyond them and they would be transferring my husband to the State Criminal Investigation Department. He said that whatever we had to discuss would be done there. That was how my daily trips to the SCID started. I informed my pastor who helped us get a lawyer. At first, I thought my husband wouldn't stay beyond a day. His narration of what happened was the truth, other collaborators who saw what happened spoke too. Looking at how frail and old he's looking, you would wonder how he could murder a young man in cold blood. They even located the family of the deceased but they said they didn't want to have anything to do with the case and wouldn't even take the body for burial. Looking at me, old and weak and having to come there everyday, you would think they would have pity. Seeing all these, the police knew my husband was innocent, yet they wouldn't let him go. After about a week of his being there, they started demanding for money. First, it was the mortuary bills. I didn't have the money and kept pleading with them. When it was obvious they wouldn't budge, my pastor had to give us the money. After that, they asked for money for bail. Again, the amount was beyond me. By this time, we could hardly feed as all I had was spent on daily transportation to the police station and getting him food plus other minor charges they required. The lawyer too was already frustrated with the case and asked us to raise whatever we could. I borrowed some and took all our savings yet the money wasn't complete. The lawyer just had to take that and somehow they accepted it. We got a surety, paid the money and they asked us to wait for their boss to sign the release documents. I had to go home when it was getting late. They didn't release my husband that night. They kept him for another full day and finally released him the following night. When he came home and I saw him fully, I cried. He was so emaciated with signs of mosquito bites all over his body. I would have asked him to tell you his experiences at the different cells they kept him but he was still too traumatized by the experience. He spent two weeks and two days in detention. It's been three weeks since he came back and though he is much better healthwise, he hasn't been able to drive that car. I know he is scared of the memories and what the roads might bring. But that's all we have in addition to the little petty businesses I do when I have funds. We will need to feed and pay off the loan we took so he has no option than to go out soon. It was a very trying month but I have a strong faith in God and I'm happy He didn't fail me. Who knows, those boys would have killed or injured my husband, or he would have died in the cell. I would have been telling a different story now. In all things, we are thankful for life and know we will come out better."

I am Ezekiel from Nigeria. It is a great privilege to join this noble platform. I look forward to having a great time with you all. Thanks
