Have you ever noticed that you easily get tired even if you didn't do anything? That sometimes you feel so drained even if you just talked to your friends?

There are times in our life that we didn't notice that certain things that we do drain our energy too much. Things that's been part of our life that we thought it's ok because no one told us that it's not good for our body, both physically and mentally, so keep on doing it not realizing that it's one of the reasons why we easily get tired, why we easily drain our energy.

Here are some stuff or habits that we do that we should try to limit or avoid doing for us to save our energy. Not just to save energy but also to give ourselves some peace of mind.

Stressing about things you can't control

Worrying about things that are happening in our life is not good for our mental health. It is another way of stressing ourselves about things that we cannot control and we should limit this habit. There are things that are just beyond our control and that no matter what we do, no matter how much we think about it, there's nothing we can do about it. This may sound cliche but let's try not to worry over things that is not yet happening and focus on the things that we can do something about. Most of the time, the things that we worry about are not really happening so why worry, if it will only waste your time and energy.

Taking everything personally

This one is common that is always happening to us. Honestly we don't have to take things personally or seriously. Not all things that happening around us is about us and most of the time we are just paranoid. Most of the time it is just our mind that is feeding us of such things but hey as long as no one is confirming that it is about you or that it is really you, stop wasting your time taking it personally because it is not really about you. You may have the same situation or same scenario but it happens. Enjoy life and just try to laugh on things that making you paranoid because the chances that it is not about you is high. Remember as long as no one is confirming that its about you stop thinking about it and ignore what you are hearing. Time is too precious to waste over things that is not about you.

Fueling your body with crap

Fueling your body with a crap is also called negative thinking. It is also thinking of negative things that is coming your way. It also not productive and it only drains you because you are feeding your soul with too much nonsense that it already affects you and the people around you. Remember, being negative is not a part of the solution most of the time, it creates more problem. So try to focus on things that will give you solution and always think positive.

Trying to please everyone

Pleasing everyone will only make your life miserable, and besides we can never ever please everyone around us. All we can do is please ourselves and try to be the best version of ourselves. Don't waste your energy pleasing someone for them to accept you. It is still much better if they are going to accept you for who you are and not just because you please them. Just be the best version of yourself, be happy with who you are and you will attract the right people who are meant to be with you.

Dwelling on the past

Past gives us good and bad memories, it gives us a lesson that is not easy to forget but the reason it is called "past" is because we already learned a lesson from it and we will never passed that way again. It's okay to reminisce the past but we have to let it go for us to face the new challenge of today and learned from it too. Holding on to the past will only gives us regrets and lots of what ifs. Let's start enjoying the what is and try to lessen the what ifs. Anyway we are living at the moment, we are living at the present and not for the past, don't let your past be a hindrance or drain your energy to enjoy what you have today.

Complaining

Yes, there are so many things that happening around us that we do not like but that doesn't give us the privilege to complain. Complaining projects negativity, complaining makes you see all the negative aspects of life and people doesn't want to be around with a person who keeps on complaining and spread skepticism. Instead of complaining let's try to be grateful, let's try to look on the brighther side. Do something productive instead and try to shine with everything you do. This will make your life bright and shiny too instead of wasting your energy complaining.

Toxic People and gossip

There are people who really can't find a way to appreciate the life that they had. They are the toxic people who always complains, who always radiates negative energy and just can't find anything beautiful. Sometimes they are the ones who like to discuss and create drama. They like to talk about other people's career or other people's relationship. These type of people will not do you any good, and being like one is also not good. Because while you talk about other people's relationship or achievement you keep on looking for something negative about them too and it will only create a feeling of jealousy. Try not to spend too much time looking at other people's lives instead focus on your own life and make it better. There are so much to see and to work out on our own life, let's aim for self improvement.

Let's try to avoid these habits and let's refocus ourselves on making our life more beautiful, more meaningful. Wasting our energy doing these is just a waste of time and it will only create self doubt and more negative attitudes that will hindrance growth and success.

Excellent recommendations, there are some that I already put into practice, others that have not yet, but I need them, many times I feel that I take care of concerns that do not belong to me and at the end of the day I end up exhausted from thinking so much about solving problems for others.

I felt so guilty about the things you have mentioned above, excluding the "pleasing thingy." I admit before, I have that in mind, but soon enough, I realized that it was not right to do that. We cannot force EVERYBODY to like us. Let's just be who we are and first and foremost, we should accept our imperfections..

One thing I hate the most is trying hard to please other people, it's something I'd never do. We all have our lives to live and nobody is perfect, I don't ever see myself doing that.

Tama po yung mga bagay na hindi naman po natin ay macontrol ay wag na nating pag aksayahan ng oras sabi nga po nila ay "Everything will fall into their proper place" kaya po bakit pa po natin papagurin ang sarili natin sa bagay na di naman natin kayang i-control. At tama din po na kung lagi nating binabalikan yung past natin ay marami tayong pagsisi na naiisip kaya kailangan ay mag look forward na lang po tayo sa future natin.

Yes this is true sis. Don't let yourself stress instead we should be positive. Taking everything personally can make you worst. It gives you a self down and self doubts.

Avoid those things can make you stress. Always lift up and be positive in life. It can make you a positive mind. If you'll doing a thing continuously to make you stress at the end you're the only one who left with pains.

I really don't like to please someone to stay or to like me. I am independent and so if they hate me I don't actually care about it. I can stand on my own. I don't even stress myself to much for I know there are problem I can't control in life. Just be happy and smile is the best hobby

Stressing about things I cannot control is my one energy depleter.. that of course is the twin of dwelling in the past hahaha..

Also one of the really difficult situations is that you can't open up your situation because you know in yourself that you will only cry when you tell the story. And also for those who love gossip, I don't like that, that's why I don't like to go out of the house anymore because I don't want to talk about other people's lives. Haha .

Did you happen to read my life or something??? please tell me... this is exactly what I do and no wonder I always feel tired lol... I stopped trying to please everyone years back and also slowly stopped complaining as I realized it is not bringing me anything... and I also downright refuse to gossip because Sagittarius people hate gossiping 🤣🤣 now my most important priority is to avoid toxic people.. that is tough because I live two such people from 11 years and I have been suicidal for 2 times in that period... I need to move away but couldn't
