@ExpertWritter more from that month

September 12, 2025 8:51 PM I woke up around 4:30 in the morning to cook breakfast for my younger cousin since my grandparents are still staying at my uncle’s place in Rosales. By 6 AM, the power went out—and it was scheduled to last until 6 PM. I originally planned to visit my dentist today (since I wasn’t able to go yesterday), but their clinic was also affected by the power interruption. After eating breakfast, I thought I’d just go back to sleep. But my nap was cut short because my older sister asked me to accompany her and her son (my 5-month-old nephew) to SM City Urdaneta. It was his very first trip outside, so this was a special moment for them as mother and son. I decided to go along too—after all, I didn’t have anyone to hang out with at home, and spending 13 hours without electricity would’ve been way too boring.
