Whats with Mungo during Friday? Heres some assumption. In Catholic religion, we avoid meat during friday night. So they seen mungbean as substitute. In other hand, in early Filipinos, markets opens only during sundays, and mungo as not perishable goods are the only stock last 😁. Photo not mine © Internet
