I am sure you have heard of the 10,000 hours rule to be expert at something. But have you seen some people in school or workplace with you who never practiced? Like you meet them and they feel like pretty much trained in short time to expertise. This seems like an exception which builds some people purely out of raw intellect. Their brain catches up a process and easily replicate without having much practice. They acquire success quicker and also reach better heights. Sometimes there are exception to things. That's why if we are not like them we have to hustle. So never use those successful people as an excuse to blame god, fate, time etc.

I think there is something to be said for talent or natural inclination but even talent needs harnessing to get the most out of it, Training if well done always enhances and builds and talent can rot if left on its own
