Axie infinity has it's popularity increased since the COVID. And the game continues. Recently I came across few users who managed to sell their SLP and earned money. There is a case on twitter where the guy sold his NFT specific to axie and made money. There are lot of use cases out of axie infinity and how they are helping some people.
