Problem of crypto shillers and the fans is that. - They hate other coins to make people like their favorite coin. - They create wall of PR against other coin to make people like their coin. I don't remember ETH or Polkadot created BTC hate campaign to sell smart contracts. If your coin requires negative PR against BTC to sell yours, it is not worth it in long term. I can't speak for others but I don't buy coins endorsed through negative PR. I especially don't buy coins endorsed by Rich propaganda people like Elon musk.

I totally agree with you if your pitch is better BTC or BTC with smart contracts your a joke!Show me something you trying to solve as far as I can see most of this stuff is a cash grab to sucker you in and get your money or your Bitcoin
you only can use this as a professional trader it´s a good upset these news for making short gains so not investing longtime but speculating on a specific point and take advance of it, nothing for newbies or peeps with low budget for speculating ;)
