Betamars, upcoming blockchain game & land based NFT metaverse. Unfortunately it makes use of the Ethereum and pays in USDT for it's rewards and the marketplace transactions. I wonder what stops them from using Binanace or even Polygon if they want to use Ethereum chain. I hope they do make changes in near future for the same. Its too early to say anything about Betamars but it does have pretty good appeal for those who are into collectible of land NFTs. And also there seems to be pretty much hype on twitter with all the presale and initial investments. Simple thing to do on eth on chain is heavy costing, this will be a fail project if they don't switch to L2 solutions.
Thank you for this nice post. I am always interested in learning more about Blockchain / crypto gaming and META / VR worlds. I think the scene is about to explode as game developers try to carve a niche in the coming years to have a bigger market share. I look at Axie Infinity (AXS) and let's not forget that it has a 4 Billion USD market cap... That's a lot of money for an online game! I mean compare that number with what Star Citizen got with their crowfunding (the biggest crowdfunding ever). I think it's about 400 Million, meaning 10x smaller than what AXS did... So studios will notice and gamers will benefit!
