Being an Asian, despite born into Catholic home. I grown up reading a lot about Eastern Gods and Demons. One thing that always surprised me is how world needs evil as much as the good. When good times come in, people take life and the other people for granted. People behave as Evil as the evil that existed in bad times. Selfish, greed, glutton. Unless people are reminded of evil and the bad days, they don't show humanity. Connecting this to corona we realize how doctors, nurse, pharma is doing black market. It feels that people never hesitate to discard humanity in times like this. Life goes on. We learn things from history. Sometimes we don't learn.
