We take decisions. We make mistakes. We don't get what we want. And then after some time we end up randomly getting the thing we want. At that time we feel like it's not now that I wanted it, but we get it eventually. Learn to say "I deserve it" whenever you achieve your goals. Don't get disappointed if you achieve some things late in life. It's always better that it happened than never happened.
