My heart is battered And my soul is shattered I can no longer force a smile I’ve been thinking to surrender for a while My mind can’t control my body anymore I’ve been crying for days and my eyes are sore Why does it feel like everyone closed their door? This is far from everything that I ever wished for— Bruised body and hopeless me, Is there still a future? Why couldn’t I see? ‘should I give in and take my lonely?’ These are the thoughts that I couldn’t free But I know that I have to be patient I have to wait and pick up my pieces Healing could be a very long process But it’ll be worthy after all this mess, I just have to wait.
