Compound bug has been funny and dramatic at the same time: https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2021/10/01/compound-founder-says-80m-bug-presents-moral-dilemma-for-defi-users/ Almost all liquidity in the pool was distributed to users for a code bug, but now founder says that users have to give money back. I think he’s right: in DEFI fraudulent attacks could happen, and this is the case users has no guilty and need an insurance to have funds backed. But if they have a gain generated by bugs, an unexpected benefit, which endanger DEFI financial stability, they have to partecipate.
