Regulatory bodies all over the world are not trying to ban crypto, are trying to regulate. Why? Because when financial system like Jp Morgan proposes crypto assets to all clients they are obliged to classify and manage risks, so a many rules are necessary. And they’ll try to transform rules in a way to control crypto market. I hope they will not make such disasters they did in traditional finance: https://www.coindesk.com/podcasts/coindesk-podcast-network/jpmorgan-bitcoin-institutional-wealth

Yes, they are going for regulation. However, they will never be able to stop the permissonlessness of decentralzed services and censorship freedom in p2p transactions.
Yeah p2p are strongest, but they want to address crypto/fiat exchanges. Are there crypto/fiat exchanges which work through p2p?
There are a few like local.bitcoin.com
yes I feel they are going in the direction of regulation rather than banning. I know something of the inside track of how the banking system works.
Laws, rules, ropes and control 😂
