"The holy Cross be my light" Horizontal Cross of the Cross: N.D.S.M.D. "May the infernal dragon not be my guide" I see the Cross every May 3 to be faithful to a tradition that I learned from my grandmother and here at home my father built that small wooden structure and always dressed it with crepe paper and placed some flowers on it. Particularly the Cross is not my favorite icon of Catholicism, I believe that Jesus should not be remembered through the instrument in which they sacrificed him, it is worth the opportunity to remember that the crucifixion is a Roman rite and not a Jewish one as it is estimated in religious folklore.
