FIRST MOON OF THE YEAR / Blue Monday... it seems that it is sad For about a month I have had some very serious inconveniences, events that have come out of nowhere to which I must pay attention, leaving everything aside, I hope it is a "Moon Passage" and that the streak of unhappy events ends today with the first full moon of the year First, my cell phone damaged its SIM card and, as is routine in Venezuela, replacing it is an odyssey, in addition to being very expensive for the budget of a "Poor University" so I am without a cell phone and without access to some social networks that they send the web code to the phone. Then the monitor of my PC was damaged, I shared several posts about that and at this point I only have a quarter of a screen with which I am working because I have not been able to find the resources to replace it, while the damage progresses towards the end During the week I won't see anything on the screen, and my students are anxious because I haven't started and it's the second week of the semester... they already suspect that the subject will be closed for this semester Last Saturday I went with my daughter, she went out like every afternoon to her exercise routine and on her way back, there was a gust of wind and a waste product from the sugar cane harvest got embedded in her right eye, immediate attention was necessary of an Ophthalmologist and that, my friends, is difficult here in Venezuela in normal times, imagine a Saturday night. I appealed to the networks and as always very shy, I wrote to an Ophthalmologist that I know only because we follow each other and I comment on his stories and he mine... Aha! I was lucky, the boy (he is the age of my eldest daughter) was out there and he attended quickly, he asked for some photos of the eye with the highest resolution and sharpness possible and after reviewing them he indicated a preventive treatment until Sunday morning when he should attend the emergency of the HCM, what a problem, without cash and with my car still without brakes. To make matters worse, Monday was a bank holiday and the drama of cash was almost repeated because the ATMs were not recharged, at 10 in the morning a friend who works in a Chinese store did us the favor of talking to the owner and she she passed the TDD as if it were a purchase and gave us the necessary bolivars... frankly relieved, at that time she left for Maracay accompanied by my other daughter and they arrived at the HCM at 11:30 am where the “cyber friend” ophthalmologist was going to wait for her to evaluate and remove the foreign body What do you think happened? Just by liberally applying a liquid, the Malay "UFO" came off and there was no damage to the eye... Thank God. Blessed be God! But the Moon continued to grow until today, for a reason it is called "blue monday" that informally and esoterically translates as "sad Monday" and in my case it has not been for less. My mother's health has been deteriorating since Friday and today she woke up completely bedridden, with paresthesia in the lower extremities and fever. Guillain Barre syndrome ??? we are waiting for the differential diagnosis and for whatever it is to go with the Moon #TheSaddestDayOfTheYear #BlueMonday #FirstMoonOfTheYear #OVNIenElOjo #SickMom #OriginalContent
