Bernie has started laying eggs 🥚 she is a copper black maran and her eggs are supposed to be a superior egg, they are supposed to be chocolate brown coloured but at the moment they are a light beige just like the other eggs 🤔 maybe as she matures they will change colour 🐔

This fly at first glance looks like a wasp or hornet but it's not, closer look and the head is different, there is no stinger and the body is flat. Insects have very clever defense mechanisms, it's impressive 🪰🐝🪰

Our veg plot is filled with weeds, had to leave it a few weeks because I had a baby and the weather has been so bad 🌧️ it will take a good few hours to clear it all 🌿
