After almost two weeks I took my daughter to the park and when we got there we found out that the park was temporarily closed. Hopefully it will open soon.

Yesterday I made prawn karahi for the first time. Luckily it turned out to be very delicious. I followed FOOD FUSION recipe. I have tried their recipes many times and they never disappoint.

Today finally my parents have left the house we spent our entire lives in. They have moved to a new one. We are already missing our home. May they get to make more beautiful memories in the new one.

October has started and I am a bit excited as it is my birthday month. It brings all nice autumn vibes with itself, and yes it also lets us know that winters are just around the corner.

Last night ordered cookies from a local shop here. They tasted average and were so hard to chew. Definitely not going to order. I miss crumble hazelnut cookies though.

Right now I am playing with my daughter’s blocks. I watch cocomelon with more interest than my daughter. What has gotten into me?

I have got flu and sore throat. One person in the house gets sick and this virus jumps on to everybody. No matter how much you try to keep yourself safe, this virus gets you anyway.

Everyone at my house is heartbroken as Pakistan lost the match. I am also a bit sad. But I think it’s fine after all it was just a match. They beat us in the playing field and we beat them outside.

I don’t know why but in my dreams I always find myself in my school. I never see my college, University or academy. Similarly I always dream of my childhood house not the house where I live now. I think the places where you have spent a lot of time specially your childhood, those places never fade in memories. They are always found in our subconscious.

Arabs are so fond of tea but their tea is not OUR CUP OF TEA. They make it so strong that it reaches the level of “bitterness”. I haven’t found here a single place here where I can get my type of tea.

Finally I have tried the famous Dubai Pistachio Kunafah Chocolate. I must say the hype was worth it. It is one of the best chocolates I have tasted.

I like the mess my toddler creates in the room with her toys. Although I like everything to be organised , even my grocery trolley is so organised that my mother laughs at me and says WHO ORGANIZES TROLLEY STUFF? But I like my baby’s toys scattered in my room

So my parents and rest of the family are moving to a new house. I am really upset for leaving that house as I have spent my entire life there. It’s so hard to let go of the things which are so dear to us. But sometimes we are helpless we have to do things that we don’t want to. This is life.

Today I am making Chicken & potato cutlets for my toddler. I hope she will like it. Instead of giving biscuits , chips and other junk I think it’s better to give such snacks which are nutritious and tasty.

I am so hungry right now and all I can think of eating is tikka biryani from Red Apple. First thing I am going to eat is this biryani as soon as I land in Pakistan.

I have been thinking for a long time to start work out to shed some kgs but I can’t find the right motivation to do so. I started jogging few days back but left that too. I wonder how people keep themselves consistent.

There are always somedays when you feel lethargic and lazy for no apparent reasons. Today is that day. All I want to do right now is get into bed and take a long nap. But obviously I can’t afford it as I have to prepare my toddler’s next meal and then make tea for myself.

Have you guys tried Lays chips in paratha? Today I made myself a paratha in breakfast, spread some cheese on it, placed an omelette and then sprinkled some crushed Lays on top, rolled the paratha and believe me , it was so delicious.

Whenever it seems like summers are coming to an end, suddenly hot weather takes its toll and proves us wrong. Two days back weather was so pleasant that we were going to the park every day. But yesterday stepping out of the house felt like we’re going to melt. I am praying for this unbearable weather to end soon.

When you put something on stove on low flame thinking food will be cooked by the time you return after doing other chores. But instead you get to witness smoke coming out of cooking pan. That’s what has happened with me today.

Thinking of watching Harry Potter series again. Some of you might laugh as it is not something grownups would watch. But I love Harry Potter and all its magical vibes. I have collected some of its decoration items as well.

So today a new member to our family has been added. A cat which by breed is munchkin. I am so excited to watch my daughter play with her as she is super obsessed with cats. I guess every child is, at this age.

I got lucky today A few days back we went to a super market to do some shopping. As we finished shopping and were about to step out, a person holding a voucher came and asked us to fill it out. As you all know, summer vacations are over and students are back to school, so it was a voucher from some educational academy. Anyways, we filled it up and registered ourselves for that prize and literally when we came home back, we forgot about that. Today we got a call from them, they told us that we have been among those 25 winners. I was so excited to know what we have won. We got three prizes. A Dubai City tour, a smart watch and an international staycation at a 4 star hotel. We have been given a list of 10 countries to choose from. I am so excited to plan this trip with my family.

I went to a park today with my daughter. She gets really bored at home. Although it was mentioned there that only 6 to 12 years old are allowed to ride the swings but the child inside me couldn’t resist. So I rode those swings too & enjoyed my time there with my daughter.

It’s Friday today. I have lots of chores to do. But first thing first, I am going to pray. Then I will start with breakfast and house cleaning. It’s going to be a long day.

I am planing on getting my toddlers hair cut today. Her front hair fringes are constantly getting into her eyes due to which her eyes are teary all the time.
