I'm just a girl... No, God's girl! I am feeling good today. I'm telling y'all, it's really because of that phone like the elders tell us. I've been doing these little dances as I went through my day, because it has been a good one. You know what? It's nice to actually have a day off in the middle of the week! It's amazing! I am thankful it's a holiday today, so I got more sleep and a well-needed break from my job that I don't enjoy. If you've been with me for a while, I've been open about it ever since I started. Today, even it isn't yet payday, I went to the dentist for an appointment I set last week. It's dental cleaning and consultation. It went well. After that, I did some window-shopping (very therapeutic and well-recommended!) and visited a newly-opened cafe nearby. I loved what I ordered and the seat I chose because it was comfy and suits my 'introvert-ness' (I just made up this word, not sure if it exists though). Here's a photo of what I ordered:

I bought a cute pair of sandals afterwards, as I realized I don't really have much footwear. It was affordable and I didn't regret buying it. I wore the sandals as soon as I got out the store, and looked at my feet. My nails were ugly. So, I am sure you can guess where my feet brought me next. Again, it's not yet payday. But you know what, I haven't pampered myself in a long while due to being a dedicated corporate slave and doing useless stuff (mostly doom scrolling) on days off. So I went it, and got my feet done. The result was beautiful, and it suited well with the new sandals! I loved it, and how it made me feel! Oh, and before I forgot, I also went to that 15-minute massage chair booth and relaxed. I went home feeling satisfied despite the money spent. I think it's perfect timing that this all happened before January ends, a perfect way to treat myself after a long month. It goes a long way to have these slow mornings, and little solo trips. It doesn't have to be far and expensive. It's amazing how we have the power to give ourselves the opportunity to breathe and enjoy the present moments. I've never felt this peaceful in a while. Not that it's been depressing or chaotic before because I am a beloved daughter of God, but well, it's just a really good day today. Technically, I haven't achieved anything big nor measurable to feel this accomplished, but it still feels emotional and kind of strange how just peaceful my whole body feels. And yes, I still have tons of backlogs at work, but my brain just tells me right now, "It's tomorrow's problem, and I should not beat myself to it." Last Sunday, I started this 30-day pilates challenge on Youtube, and I'm gonna be honest, that was the Day 1 and the last day (so far haha). Until now I still feel them muscles sore, just means I really haven't been in shape since I'm just not a gym girl! And now, I couldn't stop thinking that 12 minute workout must have contributed to me feeling good nowadays. By the way, that was a 36-minute video and I haven't got even half way because I felt like dying, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it, at I am a first timer. Everyone's not supposed to do well the first time. So, after this, I'm gonna continue that unfinished video and see if I can make it until the 30th day (without pushing myself too far, of course). I'd like to try and see how it'd feel to have a better body than before. Above all, before I end this, I give everything to God. All I've achieved, experienced this month, all glory and thanks go to Him. There were good and bad days, but He's with me through all of it, and I'm never gonna stop talking about Him! Y'all can get tired of me flexing my God, but I still will, and that's on period! Here's to a good day, and better ones coming! More achievements, more stuff on bucket list checked, and more glory to God and God alone! Thanks be to You, Father.
