Heard from our weekly devotion huddle earlier: "It's not useless when it's for God and from God." And it reminded me on how everything I'm doing has a purpose. Sometimes it gets exhausting and there are days I get sick of it. These words do remind me that none of these efforts are wasted because someone is watching over me. Someone remembers me and still accepts me no matter how many times I fall. I hope we take some minutes of our day to be reminded of all the little good…

Days would really just be something "bland" when you're on auto-pilot mode. You won't notice how the weather was better than yesterday, or that traffic was not terrible today, or that you accomplished a lot of things today. It's because your mind is so clouded with thoughts—I don't know if past or future things—just everything but present. You forget to live in the present, so you fail to see the little beautiful things that make up a good day. It could be a nice cup of…

It's hard to wake up for non-"morning persons" like me. Everyday work is a struggle to just the beginning of it. But here I am again, waking up at 5, because I have to make money and survive. I wonder when the time will come where I have freedom over my time. I can sleep a lot and not compress myself into three to five hours of sleep. That means I have to work harder, so I can retire earlier. Though how can I, when I am a bread winner? I can't even save properly, and it…

Before ending the day, let me share a fun fact some of you might not know before! Here it is: Did you know we actually have more than 5 senses? There is Chronoception (sense of passage of time), Nociception (sense of pain), and more! You may get surprised to know there are at least 15 more secondary senses. That's it! Thanks for coming by! Stay tuned for more daily fun facts!

A friendly reminder today to spend at least two minutes to think of the good things that happened within the last twenty-four hours. Also take this chance to breathe from the daily hustle. You might wanna grab a pen and paper, to write down those mundane things that still made your day a little bit better than before. One more day of work week for those who work Mondays to Fridays—no days off for others. Still, I hope you can still allot a few minutes to give yourself a…

It's a long weekend for us Filipinos! I don't actually have a planned list of things I'd do, but this one thing: enjoy it! For a start, I spent the first half of the day sleeping and watching a drama. The next half was for our regular practice for tomorrow's Sunday service. It's a nice day to not think about piling overdue tasks at work that never seemed to end because they keep adding to my pendings. Well, mom bought me a new bedding today, and I started re-organizing my…

How can we testify for something when we're not convinced ourselves? That's why it's vital to learn and deeply understand the Word. It's hard to defend what we believe in when we know very little about it. Above all, let's make sure to not forget the sole purpose of being faith witnesses—to share to others about who God is, and what He did, what He does, and what He will and can do. Do all for God's glory, asking him for knowledge and wisdom whenever we lack it. Be careful…

Let me drop by with an inspiring quote for y'all: "We all need some bravery in our lives. Fear of failure cripples creativity, leaving you staring at a blank page unable to start. .. So one has to be brave in order to create. Being brave is being afraid but doing it anyway. So . .. be brave! Be strong and be creative!" - Helen Dardik This was one of the many quotes that actually encourage me to take the licensure exams even without years of study and review. Maybe it's…

@Ellehcim

It's a remarkable feat for all of us today. If you saw this, let this sink in. End of the week. End of another month. End of another quarter. End of half the year. And you're thriving. You may or may not be in your best shape, but that's mostly because you worked hard to survive. Acknowledge that. Here's to hidden battles you fought alone. Here's to people looking up to you as their role model because they see how strong you are despite challenges. Here's to living your…
