Drug Abuse

Using drugs without doctor's prescription and the use of hard drugs is being regarded as drug abuse. The term has been a cankerworm that has eaten deep in the society. Many students have become a drop out as a result of this menace. Research made us to understand that the majority of the mads in the Cityof Kaduna in Northern part of Nigeria was mad as a result of drug abuse. The abusers of hard drugs is as result of emacipation of masculine and influence from friends. Illiteracy also plays a vital role. People who are victim of this great menace are ignorance of its consequences. I recommend mass sensitisation of the people. It will reduce the abuse of drugs if it cannot totally eradicate it Elitebaba
