Saw this Squid Game-inspired meme on Facebook. According to the posts I've read, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp weren't accessible last night. And Twitter looks like it won the game. Lols! Anyway, I wonder how our lives would look like, if one day, all of these social media sites won't be operating anymore. It would be like going back to the 90s. But we still have noise.cash, and other blockchain-based platforms. But sadly, the shutting down of some of these social media sites, especially Facebook, will greatly affect those small-time businesses who are using them to sell their products and services. While big companies/brands would survive, some online sellers who are greatly relying on Facebook wouldn't. But good thing, there are options like Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, etc. where they can offer their products. But then again, not all are techy. But still, just like BDO, we find ways.
