These recipes are made with herbal and natural ingredients that are usually harmless to the skin skin, easy to find, and likely to already be in your kitchen or the nearest grocery store. They promote glowing and soft skin.
Each recipe should be left on the skin until it dries or for between 10 and 15 minutes and washed off. Afterward, you may wish to apply a light moisturizer if your skin feels dry or tight.
Oatmeal Anti-Oxidant
This oatmeal and cinnamon face mask promotes cell growth as it's rich in anti-oxidants. Like all these remedies, it's incredibly easy to make. Take two teaspoons of dry oatmeal and half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Mix them together with milk to make a paste and gently apply it all over your face using circular motions. Keep it on for about 15 minutes and then rinse it with plain water. Your face will glow!
Tea Leaf Age-Defier
Tea is very effective in keeping your skin glowing as you age. The flavonoid content in tea has anti-aging properties and also contributes to skin lightening. Make a skincare concoction by boiling a spoon of tea leaves or a tea bag until it makes a strong brew. Let it cool and add a hefty amount of brown sugar. Mix some cream and mix until it forms a paste. Apply to your face in a circular motion for about 10 minutes. Wash it off with plain water to get softer and glowing skin.
Semolina Brightener
Semolina flour—also known as sooji—is great for clean and glowing skin. Make a mixture of semolina and milk, apply to your face, and leave it until it dries. Wash away with warm water.
Lemon Scrub

Papaya Oil-Absorber
Papaya absorbs the excess oil, improving your skin's appearance if you have oily skin. Take a ripe papaya, cut it into small pieces, and add a teaspoon of sandalwood powder or bentonite clay. Add honey to make a paste. Apply the mixture all over your face. Leave it for about 15 minutes and then wash it off with plain water. This is also an effective anti-aging and anti-wrinkle remedy.
Egg on Your Face
Eggs are high in protein, minerals, and vitamins which are very effective in repairing your skin. Take the white of one egg and beat it with a teaspoon of yoghurt and lemon some juice until it forms a paste. Apply it all over your face. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.
Milk and Honey
Add a teaspoon of honey to two teaspoons of milk. Then add a teaspoon of gram flour to make a paste. Apply it all over your face, leave it for 15 minutes, and wash it off with warm water to nourish your skin.
