Another day in paradise...
Another day in paradise, in my paradise? I am not in front of those dreamy tropical ocean beaches, but in front of my new town. A new horizon in front of me as I have already told you in previous articles.
These weeks have been chaotic, intense and hard. All change requires moments and days when we have to give everything we have and sometimes more. But in the end everything passes, and we sit sighing thinking that we have already achieved it. Although it has not been easy and at certain moments not pleasant either, we have passed the most uncomfortable tasks, they had to be done to be able to leave, to be able to change. So we arrived at our new home.
But it does not end here, you look around and there is much to be done. Everything is new, and that is also disorienting, but we have to observe with more interest and hard I would say... and we realize that a lot has changed and despite the insecurities and uncertainties, I think the change has been for the better.
I feel calm and a silence that I didn't remember existed, I hear people saying hello on the street without knowing us, I see that there is less traffic, that everything is slower. The energy is another, it is different. I also feel different myself, it's a strange sensation, it will be the adaptation process and in that process I notice tiredness, the accumulated tiredness of the last weeks, and of the last months. Many procedures, obligations, calls and more nerves. Not knowing how it would all turn out.
And now my body starts to get rid of all that exhaustion, and those sleepless nights, now it wants a break and some relaxation, after so much fuss. There are boxes to open, things to buy and others to place, but there is time. We also have to rest and start enjoying the wonderful surroundings.
I prefer to look at the sea, even in the list of daily tasks that seem endless, I decide to take another moment to go to the beach, the one here. The one that comforts me now, and I thank because it is better. Everything seems calmer and more natural, or more pleasant indeed. Who would have thought that I would have such a gift added to this abrupt change of life.
So yes, it is paradise, for me it is, my paradise without filters. Fresh, clean and transparent sea, bright blue sky, soft sand, lush palm trees and beautiful colorful flowers. It doesn't take much more to become a paradise that is only a few minutes to the east, always wonderful, always perfect, always waiting for me... Maybe it was waiting for me even before I knew myself that I would come here.
