Open Up Your Heart **They say that love is selfless. If you really love someone, you are ready to give your all. But that does not mean you need to pretend blind when the one you love does not love you back.**

Love is the various passions that we felt when love and attention manifested to us. It is not merely about romance. Love can signify several conditions and can deviate from somebody to another.  What establishes love are care, honesty, and trust. Everybody desires to be loved. It gives each one of us joy and makes us feel like we have value. We love for numerous reasons and matters, and the passion we believe changes throughout our lifetimes. So, for this article, it contains the first four submitted works for the *Poem Writing Event.* `Code: L1` **Journey to love**  by @bbghitte The life I travelled Is dark and disheveled  As if the world is shattered  I don't know how to move. Give up, give up!  A loud voice from above  I felt scared, so scared  I trembled and felt cold. I am ready to close my eyes  Sign of surrender and defeat  Tears began to roll and fall  This journey I must end. Hey mister  Get up, get up!  What are you doing in my truck?  But I was just to weak to answer. I slowly opened my eyes  All I see is white  Am I in heaven or not  Then you came out, so I told myself thanks God! Hey mister  Are you deaf or what?  Then I smiled  What a cute angel on my sight! Then things around me gets clearer  More colors, livelier  Now I find the perfect reason to get up  To live again and fight. Thanks my love  I was in the verge of giving up  But you are there just in time  You pick me up and bring me back to life. I met you not by accident  Not even a coincidence  But for me to start another journey  My journey to love you! Love has multiple definitions. I didn't take you for granted,  I love you co'z that's what I wanted  You left me dumbfounded  that's how our story ended. Love is an assemblage of feelings and emotions that we undergo. Love could also indicate faiths or practices that manifest your love to special someone. *“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”* ― **Lao Tzu** `Code: L3` *Untitled* by @Sayonara You are the sun that sparkles brilliantly consistently.  You are the gravity that pulls me down all around.  You are the moon that sparkles consistently.  You are stars that flicker quite brilliant.  You are the oxygen that holds me alive.  You are my heart that pulsates inside.  You are the blood that courses through me.  You are the solitary person that I can see.  You have the sound of when a mockingbird sings.  You are my beginning and end.  You are my all in all.  You prevent me from being so desolate.  We plan our future as though we understand.  I never need to lose you.  I need you to be my significant other, and I need to be your better half.  I need to be with you for the remainder of my life. Love is a feeling that everyone is longing for. It lets them feel comfortable and alive. They believe in each other and examine to manage out their disagreements when they argue. Friendships also have a spirit of love. Though it may not be as passionate as romantic relationships, friends still love us. They care for us, make us felicitous, and also care about us.
