Rainy Saturday friends!
I am glad that the typhoon is not very strong here on our place. It's raining but not strong and not windy. The e breeze is really cold. This is the kind of weather i like where you can sleep without a need for Aircon.
However, Paeng is a strong typhoon to other places of Philippines, and i just hope many of us are prepared and got evacuated if needed. Our country is in the middle of oceans and for years we always, always, it's usual to experience typhoon however what's heartbreaking is, our country was never prepared.
Due to the cold weather, Arroz caldo was prepayby yours truly (of course ME!). Lots of fried garlic, spring onions and calamansi .. So good!

For 2 days straight, i was getting 7hours or less of sleep because my husband goes home late in the evening. So last night, i can already feel my migraine coming.
This morning, my migraine started attacking me and because of that, i couldn't get up and join my husband for breakfast.
Sharing to all of you our breakfast. My Ayah just ate pandesal and the papaya fruit.
I already took Advil for my migraine and in an hour, I'll be fine again...

I love waking up early because it only means i have a lot of time to finish all my chores and then i will have extra time for myself.
My husband went to work early today and might be back after 3 days because of work. So it's only me and Ayah 24/7 ehehe...
Later, we will go to the market to buy food for the whole week. It's going to be a very busy day.

We woke up late today since it's Sunday but my husband still has to go to work.
So for lunch, i cooked sauteed botter gourd with egg partnered with fried milkfish...
Then, this evening, i prepared and steamed my homemade Siomai. It's a combination of minced pork, onion, garlic, celery, spring onion, and egg..
As much as possible i make sure that there is always vegetables to the food i prepare on our table. Health is wealth!
I still got tired today after all the cookings and cleaning of dishes ahaha...

It has a wide view of the nature while having a swim on the big pool.
As soon as we arrived here, my Ayah woukd like yo jump into the water right away. It's actually her first time to be on a swimming pool!.
So much happiness and excitement on her face.
We wopke up late today since it's Sunday and we just finished eating our breakfast.

Yesterday, we went to my parents house and we just came home just now. 2 days and 1 night of stay so i can show our presence and love to our father who is on stroke recovery.
I may not be doing much for him but i know that my presence will lift him up and will make him happy.
I am making my father a Beanie (Second photo) because his head was operated and i hope he can wear it when its finished

Butter garlic Vegetables for dinner. A combination of baby corn, red bell pepper, carrots, beans, and cabbage with mushroom.
We all enjoyed it! Seeing my family enjoy my cooking makes me happy. Just simple happiness 😊

Morning routine with Forkee
Everyday, as soon as my Ayah wakes up in the morning she immediately requests to play with her baby dog Forkee.
She will find different ways to entertain herself while being accompanied by her baby dog. Then , i can do all the chores and cooking. Our dog is so helpful because my Ayah's attention is diverted to her than me hihihi..

She's already 3, how time flies fast.
She is my company every single day. My happiness and my stress too hihihi...
It was not easy becoming a full mom or housewife. There are those hard days too.
To you mama out there, it's okay to not be okay and when you are not okay, look for something good and positive.

Health is Wealth
Have your check-up done regularly.
You may feel good right now, but later, you'll never know. Your body might not be sending you signals..
Lately, our family faced and is still facing health problem. My father had a stroke, was on ICU for almost 2 weeks. Had brain surgery and is currently breathing thru his neck and eats thru his nose. Yes, BEDRIDDEN at the moment.
It costs us 1.5 million and still counting. Thanks to all of our relatives and friends for their unwavering emotional and financial support. We won't be able to get through it without them. The fight is still not over. Last operation has to be done and it requires a lot of money again.
Take good care of yourself and visit your doctor regularly. We can never prevent sickness as well death but at least we will have longer lives and not million hospital bill.

Spent our sunday at the mall.
Our daddy decided to have his hair cut so me and my Ayah joined him to the barbershop..
Now that Ayah turned 3, it's getting harder to snap her beautiful photos. She keeps moving all the time and sometimes she doesn't want to be photographed hihihi...
We ate Siomai afterwards on our fave Siomai king food stall... Their chili garlic sauce is the best!

Fam SUNDATE (Aug 7)
Last week was my birthday so when sunday came, we decided to have our post birthday sundate!
My baby Ayah enjoyed her halo halo while me and my husband ate samg and hotpot.
There's also a play area within the resto so kids can play while parents enjoy their food...

Happy Tuesday evening friends!
Last night, at about 10:30pm, me and my husband got really hungry ahaha.
We ate dinner so early at 6pm and was not able to sleep early coz my husband is working overtime woth his colleagues at our home.
So when they're done and we are ready to sleep, we realized we are so HUNGRY! ahaha.
So we went to the nearest Mami-Hon and oh my! The Mami which is for me is a combination of Mami and Ramen is just so yummy! Was able to take pictures after finishing it 😁. And the California Mackie is delicious too but they are a bit big so I can't eat it one time.
Nevertheless, i love Mami-Hon!

Made my baby Ayah a crochet bucket cat because she loves wearing her cat towel. So i made a cat hat for her instead that she can wear just anywhere...
She always says 'I'm a little cat mom' with her hat on...
