It's a good idea and practice to turn off apps and services that determine your cell phones location. Apparently that wasn't enough, now I have to change my number and let only a select few have it. P.S. not speaking about anyone from this site.

I keep political text from a party I have no affiliation with it's driving me nuts would this have anything to do with it?
Yes, I always keep these features turned off. Unnecessary data flow.
