Just because it’s taking time doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Sometimes, life feels like it’s moving fast for everyone else except you. You see people getting what you’ve been praying for; admissions, opportunities, love, success, and it starts to make you question your worth. But delay is not the same as denial. The fact that it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t. Life has its own timing, and what’s yours will never miss you. Often, the delay is protection or preparation, your character is being built for the weight of what you’re asking for. You’re not behind; you’re in process. In the silence of delay, growth is happening. Roots grow deep before trees shoot up. You’re building endurance, patience, and resilience, qualities that can’t be rushed. So don’t curse the waiting season. Use it. Learn in it. Strengthen in it. The blessing will come, and when it does, you’ll realize why it couldn’t have come a moment earlier. Keep showing up, keep doing the work, and keep believing. What’s meant for you is still yours. Delay is

not your denial. It’s your divine preparation.
