I had been busy these last few days that I didn't take the time to think on what to share. But this morning during our worship service, something struck me from the sermon. We had been studying on the book of Judges and today the judge we studied was Gideon. It was a rather famous story because Gideon defeated thousands of enemies with only 300 men. But before Gideon was the great judge who delivered Israel from his enemies, he was a coward who doubted God a number of times. It really amazed me that God called Gideon a mighty man of valor before he proved himself to be one. He was hiding in the secrecy of his winepress , afraid his enemies would find his grain and take it. He's really not someone you would call a man of valor. But sometimes, God sees us differently than how we know ourselves. That made me tear up a little cause I am measuring myself by how I know myself and I find that I'm nothing much. I feel like I couldn't do anything cause I'm a huge mess in everything. And I keep questioning God, what more use do I have for you? I don't exactly know what He has in mind for me next. But I want to trust that He knows me better than I know myself and I have to trust Him because He definitely knows the best for everything that is, including my very own existence😊 Good evening noisers! Hope you had a great weekend too❤️
