The growing nature of the "Augmented World" *****Augmented reality***** is a new and quickly growing trend in media. It allows users to place virtual objects such as text, video, and graphics into their real-world environments, making them better understand their surroundings. This information can help solve problems and make tasks more accessible to those with visual impairments or other disabilities. The most popular tools for the job are Google Glasses and Samsung Gear VR headsets. However, these are only the tip of a very large iceberg of augmented reality applications that will soon change society forever. In the early 1990s, a number of companies began creating head-mounted displays. The first commercially available head-mounted display was the View-Master, which was released in 1939. In 1974, ARPANET researcher Ivan Sutherland developed a prototype of the head-mounted display called the IMAGE 2000. Similar prototypes were created by other researchers as well, including NASA and Nintendo Research & Technology labs. In 1986, Steve Mann made and wore the first wearable computer capable of making 3D scans in real-time which led to his demonstration at the SIGGRAPH '87 conference that virtual reality would one day be possible. Google Glass is a simple eyepiece that can be worn like a pair of glasses. The device has a built-in camera, removable storage, and an integrated speaker. It also has sensors for GPS and accelerometer data. Commands are given through voice control or via "cards." These cards include the current time and weather, the name of the song playing nearby, directions to one's hotel from one's current location, and video calls. Users will soon be able to get notifications about sports scores or stock prices using Google Glasses and there is no doubt that this technology will soon become even more advanced. Google has stated that it envisions users to be able to interact with a whole new world of information that will be on hand at all times. The interface is simple and straightforward making it easy for the non-technical person to use Google Glasses. Samsung's Gear VR headset contains a high definition, 5.7-inch screen that streams content from smartphones or PCs and is controlled through a touchpad and buttons located on either side of the headset. This is the closest thing to a computer that you can bring to your home and it works with Samsung Galaxy smartphones, although the company has stated that they are also in talks with Google about using Android phones. While this is a much simpler version of Google Glass, there are still many features that are lacking and it is not as easy to use. There are many other devices on the market that are similar to Samsung's Gear VR headset. Examples include the Reflect VR, which uses mirrors instead, and CmoarVR, which allows you to see your surroundings through two invisible screens. The way that these devices are going to be used in the future is by being able to scan and reconstruct 3D models of real-world environments. 3D printers have been around for a long time now and are becoming more advanced all the time. The most commonly seen designs are for plastic things such as toys, but there is no limit on what can be made. The biggest problems with 3D printing are the speed at which they operate, the cost of materials, and poor quality. While these devices do have a lot of potentials, they currently seem to be more expensive than they are worth considering that you could buy a similar product in a store for less money. Augmented reality can be used to incorporate 3D printers and laser cutters into the physical world. Both of these types of machines use lasers to cut or etch different materials. Lasers can be used to make any shape out of any material and both devices are not limited to working with one type of material. When combined with 3D printing, laser cutters are capable of not just cutting existing models, but also making them from scratch. This means that you can now bring your dream house into the real world for a fraction of the cost it would have taken previously without having to sacrifice quality. Augmented reality can also be used in the medical world to help those with visual impairments. Those with poor eyesight will be able to get a pair of glasses that will project information such as what a sign says, the name of a song that is playing, current time and weather, and even turn every person into a walking 3D model. Augmented reality will not just be limited to optical devices, but also include auditory enhancers for those who have hearing problems. Those who are deaf or hard of hearing can get smart earbuds that are capable of translating foreign languages in real-time using Google Translate or other similar programs. Augmented reality may even be used to make virtual reality become more accessible. Many people have been skeptical of virtual reality because having a helmet over your face is not always convenient. AR can be used to make virtual worlds blend into your actual surroundings making VR truly immersive and allowing you to see the world in a whole new way. There are no limits to what augmented reality can do for society. It can change the way that we interact with the physical world and how we view it entirely. Who knows, maybe one day we will have holographic displays everywhere that will provide us with directions, information, or anything else that we want with a simple glance at them. Augmented reality is the future and it will not be long before it has changed the way that we work, play, and live.

Procrastination - a disease that's worst of it's kind! It's not like differentiating procrastination with laziness has any scientific backing, other than the observation that they are both known as wasted time without productivity return. The research saw a correlation between thrifty people and well-adjusted countries being thrifty. This assumption was found through the extension of the research into procrastination. Procrastination has been defined and applied in different ways at different times. It's interesting to see how fundamentally the word has been defined and applied. In early ancient times, the word procrastination had a negative connotation. In the 19th century, it was defined as wasting time idly in doing nothing. In the 80s it became a negative word to be associated with laziness. But in the past thirty years, the word is losing that negative connotation. Time dedicated to productive activities is more important than time spent doing nothing. So the story today is of a relative of mine who recently moved overseas. I am more of a recluse, preferring to live alone in a small apartment than to live in a big house as he did with his family back home. My relative was not happy about this. He liked to have his family around him while he was alone. Also In his memory, he had been studying for most of his life. He retained a scholarship at Yale University for musical composition. He played and studied music extensively. Maybe this affected him in a way that he considered that a big house with a massive library was more productive than the small apartment I was living in. He would have me call him every now and then. I was his backup plan if his family were not around. I would be his calling back home. In most cases, I would be at one of the internet hangouts or coffee shops. His voice was warm and inviting to me. But in one of my next conversations, I found him oddly quiet. I asked him if everything was well at home. He said that he had been bored. He said that he had not been very productive. He saw my dog sleeping. He wanted to comfort him. He petted the dog and stroked him with a soft hand. He said 'I was just waiting for the right moment to call you.' What was the right moment? I asked. 'To tell you about my day,' he said in complete silence. It was not anything I had said or made him say. He was not holding my phone. He had not even called me on the phone. He was just waiting. Then he called and left a message saying ***"I am bored."*** This early start to such a boring day being told about was what made me curious. He said he was waiting for the day to pass. He said he was waiting for me to come home. He said he was waiting for the sun to go down and the moon to come up. I asked myself what was going on with him? He said he had been out with his kids earlier. When I asked him how they were, he said his son was fine. He was glad because he had gotten into a good university. My relative told me that it was weird because as the day progressed his daughter had written a few more notes in her diary about him and how she felt about him. It made her happy but at the same time sad that she loved her father so much that she would write about it in a diary. She had been getting along well with her dad. He was the best father ever. The moon was out and the sun was setting and my relative was bored. He said he saw time hanging on his hands. He had watched the time go by as he waited for me to call him back home. The moon went down and the sun came up. The sky changed colors, from blue to red to orange-ish sunset colors, which my relative thought looked nice together with the moonlight and crescent colors of stars in an open sky at night. My relative said that he was not going to call me anymore. He had written a few more songs about his love for his son and daughter. Then he recorded them all on his smartphone, put them on a flash drive, and labeled it in the name of his son. Then he went back to his room. He said he would not watch TV. He was not going to answer the phone. He was just going to wait for me to call him back home. He said he had been waiting for 19 hours already when I called him in the morning after hearing his voice on the phone and asked him if he had settled his daily routine down. He said 'yes.' So I asked him what happened next? My relative did not say anything at first. Then he said 'I was just waiting for you to call.' 'What? Why don't you go back to your family? Why were you waiting for me?' I asked my relative in a puzzled voice. He was silent and said he was not talking. He had just been waiting for me to call him. 'What really made you call me?' I asked my relative. 'I just wanted you to call me. I am fine. I had a great day with my kids and everything was okay. I just wanted you to call me.' Really? Just waiting for me to call? Did he think that he could get closer to me if he waited patiently? He was not saying anything at first. Then he said, *'I was just waiting for you.'* What? Would he not even return my calls before this? What did this mean about his love for me as a person and what did it mean about how much he loved me as a friend? How did that work out in his own mind if it really meant nothing in reality because I would never call him without him calling first himself? He said 'I have already told you that. I think you will understand why I don't want to go back to my family right now.' I did not call my relative anymore after that. I just let him go back to his family. I thought he should go back to them and see if they could help him sort out the mess in his mind or if he should get some professional help, and seek a cure for the pain from his heart that was hurting him so much. Was it really nothing but a joke on him? My relative said he was okay when I asked about the things happening with him. He said he was fine and had been doing well through it all. I did not believe him. I did not know what to say to him. What could I say? How could I tell him that he had got more messed up than ever before? I thought it had become a big deal to him, although there was no evidence that his life was on the line or that any horrible situation had happened at all. I asked my relative if he really thought he could get close to me on the phone while he waited for me in silence. He said *'yes. Why not?*' I thought that was not a good idea. We were expected to speak on the phone all the time when I was able to call him. Why should I do that if he was not there and if he would never come back? Ultimately, we did not really talk much during the whole time when we were supposed to be together. He just spoke for a bit before he would go silent again, while he waited for my phone call. It made me wonder whether he had already decided it was over with us and started to sever our relationship again when I talked on the phone with him. As far as I knew back then, we were still very much together until this distant relative called me at that moment. I felt it was quite scary that he was trying to say goodbye to me on the phone, while he was not even able to manage a proper farewell. What I did not know at the time was that he played the same game with other family members as well. He got in touch with them and said some things before finally ending the relationship with each of them. It did not take long for my distant relative to come up with another excuse for why he needed to cut off our relationship again. By the time I put down the phone, I felt it was over between us again, although we stayed together throughout our waking hours in June 1996 until most of July 1996. Then, at the end of July 1996, he contacted me again by phone. He revealed to me that he had *attempted suicide* in June 1996. He told me how he had taken an *overdose of painkillers* which was probably meant to ~~**kill him**~~. I was shocked to hear the news and consoled him for his troubles over the phone. I'm thinking if I had ignored his urges to delay things, and the thought of him just procrastinating things, things would've been in a different case. Things would've been gone out of hand and he could've been successful in his plan during that day. Until now, I'm quite thankful I managed to get along with procrastinating at a perfect time. Still puzzled ever since what would've happened afterward if I just ignored him and start being productive. Blessed are you who managed to pull things through this article and let me share one of my relatives' stories.

Are dogs just your ordinary pets? **OK, so before I fully commit to this, the post might be a little bias to our fur friends, but I can't help it. I'm a fur parent and I wanted to share how important my babies are and... OK fine! I'll create an article for cat mommies and daddies as well, don't worry, but for now, let me feed you, with your hunger for literature! :)** ***Your dogs are not just your pets*** (There you go, I said it). Dogs share DNA with other species, they were raised as pack animals by their wild ancestors' thousands of years ago, and today they have evolved to fit in our homes and lifestyles. Dogs are more than just bodyguards who will protect you from every bad guy on the block; they also have the ability to provide a unique opportunity for humans to observe nature up close, teaching us how animals behave in the wild. They’re therapeutic companions who can help improve your mood when you’re having a tough day or help reduce stress caused by chronic health issues like PTSD or OCD. And they’re constantly learning from each other and from us, even if they don’t realize it. The more dogs we let into our homes, the more we can learn about them in their natural environment. Without a dog in your life, we may never know that dogs find a way to bury bones or track wolves’ scat. Our knowledge of dogs is limited to what we have observed firsthand or what has been published in scientific journals, but there are many other things that can teach us about our canine companions – things you might not know unless you’re willing to get out of your own dog-crazy brain and stop paying attention to your favorite hound all day long. Let’s start off quickly with some basic and accidental findings that might make you rethink what your dogs are capable of. According to a Wall Street Journal blog post, a simple case of mistaken identity was so compelling that even the researchers didn’t grasp the significance of their own findings until years later. It all began with the discovery of a gene dubbed “doofus.” In 1997, a team of archeologists led by Takashi Yoshimatsu at Arizona State University was excavating the remains of two mummified dogs in Egypt when they discovered a mutation on the FOXL2 gene that seemed to be responsible for a bone condition called “dachshundism.” The FOXL2 gene produces a protein responsible for proper bone formation, and dachshunds with the doofus mutation have also been found to suffer from osteochondritis, a painful joint disease. So, Scientists made a mistake, they thought that dogs have the doofus gene, according to Wall Street Journal blog post (by Christina M. Austin). It was a mistake that was easy to make since these Japanese researchers were studying the genome of a mutant dachshund. It’s funny that a mutation in one single gene could have such a profound impact on the health of an entire breed, but ultimately it’s not important, because the doofus case is still valid. So what was the reason that confused scientists? The mutation was discovered by comparing the genome of a dachshund with the genome of a chihuahua, which is known to have the same FOXL2 gene variants. It might sound like a complicated way to identify a genetic mutation, but in reality, the research team simply used a list of FOXL2 variants that they had created for dogs. Come to think about it, it is not very unlikely that we have already encountered dogs with mutated FOXL2 genes because they’re just like us, they have just been bred and domesticated for thousands of years, so mutations are quite normal in them, just like us, they have just been bred and domesticated for thousands of years, so mutations are quite normal in them. So, that’s it for the case of "doofus". Let's continue our education with finding mutations: ****On The Case of Mutant Dogs!**** *Your dog is not just your pet. Your dog might not have any genetic mutation in its genome and still be a superior creature capable of remarkable things.* 1. According to the Pet Detective, dogs with this mutation might be the ones who can easily track down foxes and other animals from a distance. This mutation was discovered by Olfactory Research International, a company that runs scientific tests for perfumes. The company wanted to test fragrances for animals to accommodate the snouts of canines and, of course, they tested their own as well – to see whether dogs would be attracted to their own perfume. To their astonishment, the dogs responded to only one: the control sample. It was the fragrance of the urine sample of Roxy, a dog that a few months ago was brought to the clinic. Normally just their own smell would attract dogs, Roxy’s smell was different. She had an unusually strong sense of smell. An odor that dogs usually detect with 98 percent accuracy could reach Roxy’s nose with 99.5 percent accuracy. The director of the research company, Claire Dalton, used her own dog to conduct a test, preventing the dog from having anything to smell, collect its urine sample, cut it with water, and put it back in a jar. She was surprised to notice that Roxy identified the urine of her own dog by immediately standing on her hind legs, sticking her nose over the air as if this scent was very important. This test was repeated for 15 species of the canine family, and the control was Roxy’s. Dogs with wet noses identify the smell of their own species, but the control of their own strain detected only a little smell. 2. A very common mutation in dogs is the "black mouth mutation" - a trait in which an animal's mouth turns black when it’s a puppy. It doesn’t affect the health of the animal, but it's an interesting example where a dog's color is functional and dominated by a single gene mutation, according to some sources. 3. According to WebMD (Andrea C. Newman), dogs with a special mutation in their genes don’t feel pain as humans do. A new study in the journal Science found that dogs, a wild-living species, have evolved a way to avoid feeling pain. The mutation inhibits a pain receptor linked to a function that humans have lost. The study was no accident. Duke, a (pain disabler) dog lived with his owners, the Mobley family in California. They were participating in research on the effects of chronic pain at the University of Washington, reported CBS Los Angeles. Dr. Jon T. Wilkes says Duke can chew on his own legs and doesn't show any sign of discomfort. The study in the peer-reviewed journal Science is the first to report how dogs have evolved their own version of a gene that helps regulate pain. The knock-out gene doesn't affect pain in dogs. It's actually the opposite. The mutation causes dogs to have an under-developed "pain" gene (POMC), which produces the hormone called pain inhibiting neuropeptide, said the study's co-author, Mutsuo Shinohara, director of the National Institute for Physiological Sciences in Okazaki, Japan. Humans don’t have the POMC gene. This is one more example of how dogs are a model of what's normal in the animal world. So, there you have it. Your dog isn’t just your pet. That’s a definite no. Dogs are highly social animals. They live and grow with their own kind (When they live with a pack). They have a complex sense of the territory where they live and play. They are very expressive and friendly and they have a big responsibility to humans, they are our pets and protectors. They are our companions and they have to help us when we need it most. But, they have their self-language. They know us. They understand us. They trust and love the one, who takes care of them. This is true and proven. But, don’t forget that they are superior. Thanks for reading my post!!! *I would love to know the names of your dogs, and of course, I offer this article on behalf of my fur-children (who I love so much), for Oga, Pinkay, and Mochi!*

Your life is just a computer simulation A lot of things in life require testing in order for us to validate the expected outcome once a certain someone would be positioned in the given scenario. Jobs that require risky outtakes like, going to a war simulation to formulate a great victorious result, riding a plane simulation, or driving a truck simulation to check for the acquisition of knowledge before doing the real deal. Perhaps we can definitely talk about thousands and thousands of different simulations available nowadays. From the simplest ones like cooking or baking simulation to the weirdest ones like fish simulation (I know, I'm just as surprised as you are). But what if all this time, your life, as you grow, as you feel the joy of playing as a kid, the pain of having wounds and fractures, the burst of laughter and joy with your friends, the bliss that you felt when you experienced your first kiss, the torment of being heartbroken and everything else, is just another simulation? You wake up once and found out everything that you believed in is just the result of a simulation. You then said "What!?!? This is it? What's all the pain I felt before this just makes sense, was all for nothing?" And then you realized that all your experience, or your feeling towards someone, or even to yourself were a result of computer programming. You felt deceived as if someone used you as an experiment for his thesis paper. But hold on for a while. Keep everything inside you and think about how things happen in real life. You found a girl in your school that you're falling over and over again for. Both of you dream about being together, yet both of you find yourself still unattached. The day for the first date is close and yet you can't stop thinking about it. Are your feelings real? You try to reassure yourself that things will be okay, but somehow, when the date goes by, everything goes back to normal and nothing really changed. You even realize that every time that you face this girl in the school, both of you are always walking a distance away from each other for fear of messing up each other's life. **Is this a simulation?** Are we just imagining things and what we have now is the result of a computer program that will determine your course of action in order to prove that you're worthy of becoming an esper (magical person)? This is where the argument lies, if we live in this world as we cannot be certain for sure that everything that happened was really true, then how can we prove our existence here? Sure, there are some simulations that prove themselves by proclaiming that it is indeed a simulation. But there are also some simulations that try to convince us with their own evidence via physical proof because they don't have any power to truly proclaim themselves as a simulation. Either way, how do we know if ours is the real world or just a simulation? What I believe is that we still need more proof before we accept ourselves as a reality beyond our imagination. But on the other hand, is it impossible to live without being aware of it? All of us agree that there are things that would make us question our existence in this universe, like death, or the fact that we'll eventually have to die as all the animals do. And there are things that people use to not only prove themselves but really their existence in this world. Here are some examples: Our lives depend on water and food. The mere fact that we have them is enough to prove their existence. God or Allah (Is there a difference?) are good examples too. There are different people in the world who live their own lives by believing that there's a higher being. Even some people who are not living their lives according to what Christianity, Islam, or Judaism dictates thought that they're doing what is right. **So what do you believe?** Do you think that we're living in another world, another dimension while we can't really prove it? Or do you think that ours is the "real" world, where everything really happens and there's no way to know otherwise? Something is left unsure, we will never approach an answer anytime soon unless we break the code that controls whatever system we are in. Glitches in the system are for now, what we are holding unto, as concrete proof that there is something beyond what the world is letting us believe into. Something that is more beyond our current comprehension, beyond our control, and beyond the human logic could accept... . . . . /command/EndofArticle /menu/braintuning/ ... End of simulation...

Zombie Apocalypse? Are we even prepared? I've always and have been a fan of horror films. Growing up, my mom would rent those old VHS tapes and we would binge-watch these zombies, monsters, pretty much any type of horror films, almost every night. But what fascinates me the most, is the thought of a certain possibility of experiencing a "zombie apocalypse". First what exactly is the definition of "zombie?" A Zombie can be defined as the reanimated corpse of a human being or animal that has returned to life to consume live flesh or brains as sustenance. (Wikipedia) The word "zombie" originates from Haitian folklore. The belief that corpses could return to life was associated with the religion practiced by slaves from West Africa who were brought to Haiti by European traders. The Haitian zombie beliefs were brought to the Americas. In 1802, United States General Toussaint L'Ouverture, who was a slave leader in the Haitian Revolution, was buried in an unmarked grave, but his corpse was exhumed and found to have been dusted by powdered charcoal and resin which gave him the appearance of a living person who had not died. (L'Ouverture, p. 626) ***Is there any reason as to why a zombie apocalypse could occur?*** Zombies are simply re-animated corpses, the body is still decomposing and the flesh missing. A zombie will eat dead flesh and brains as a source of sustenance, just like any other animal. Or in some cases a person might be infected with the virus that creates a zombie; in order for this virus to be transmitted it needs to infect a human being who has already died. All it takes is one person who's "alive" and is eating flesh or brain matter, but once eaten they can then become re-animated. The zombie apocalypse can also occur due to a pandemic, which is basically an epidemic that spreads over a large area. The virus making people sick with the symptoms of high fevers, severe aches, and pains, vomiting, etc., and once you die from it you are then re-animated. The immune system stops working and then this virus attacks the neurological system. Zombies have been a popular theme in mass media since the early 1960s. George A Romero's Night of the Living Dead is the parent of all modern zombie films (One of my all-time favorites). Romero completed it in December 1968 as his thesis film for his graduation from Carnegie Mellon University. A typical zombie, Romero's 1968 Night of the Living Dead, shows an unkempt and **slow-moving** figure in shabby clothing with a vacant stare, grey skin, and frequently bloodied arms and face. Zombies are typically depicted as feeding on human flesh, brains, or blood; they are immune to pain but can be killed if **struck in the head** with a hard object. The spread of zombies has been linked to viruses that infect humans who have been bitten by other zombies, or via an as-yet-unknown mechanism whereby those already dead rises again. The causes of zombification include disease such as rabies or influenza, radiation exposure/nuclear fallout (as in George A. Romero's "Day of the Dead" series), chemical exposure (as in the 1932 film The Man Who Knew Too Much), and parasitic infection (as in George A. Romero's Living Dead series). ***WARNING!!!*** This is a major global concern that we all need to put on our radar and take into consideration. Not only is it a possible threat, but also can affect different countries around the world, making it not just an apocalypse or world problem, but an international one as well. Yes, this could happen. Even though it isn't real, we have to prepare for it. What I find interesting is that the military is preparing for a zombie apocalypse, and they call it *ZombieOps*. They talk about creating a "zombie survival kit." One scenario involves an attack on civilians by an evil bio-engineer who's run amok with a deadly virus. This scenario calls for hundreds of thousands of military personnel to prepare for the undead. ***But what about the ordinary civilians? Are we ready? How do we prepare ourselves during these possible times?*** First, you have to make sure that you are physically prepared; you need to maintain good health and be in top physical condition. A good workout routine will do wonders. But then, you have to think about what it is that you will be doing during the day. And if something happens during the day, it could become a matter of life and death. Now, this is where I think we need to get ready for Zombie Apocalypse. What if a zombie outbreak happens and that "zombie virus" then spreads, what's the best way to survive? Well, I would first suggest staying away from human contact at all times. Keep your windows covered at night, put up tuna cans (why tuna? Because **I love tuna**) or other small objects in your windows so that you don't have to be exposed to sunlight every day. If you're a person who doesn't want to spend your life in a bunker, then you have to be prepared for the zombie apocalypse. Again, the best weapon that can protect you from these zombies is **knowledge**. You need to know how they think and act, and what makes them tick. But make sure that your weapons are easy to carry around in case you need to move somewhere else at any time. The best thing is to find an isolated place where there is little or no human contact; the deeper into the wilderness the better off you'll be when it all goes down. Remember, **you cannot stop this from happening**. If mankind is to survive this catastrophe, we have to prepare ourselves for the zombie apocalypse. ***Will it be like the zombie games we played?*** As a gamer myself, I couldn't help myself to be that excited for something like this. I've always fantasized about doing the things that I have done in the games I played in the real world. But as much as I wanted to simulate everything and dream of doing the same things, me as a hardcore gamer would know better that things would be totally different. Basic factors such as supplies or resources won't be that "bountiful" or lying on the ground just like in-game. Scarcity of different supplies such as the basic ones, food, water, and any form of replenishments, to the most critical ones like medicines, armaments, etc. What I could think of, would be the same as the gaming world could offer, of course, would be the experience itself. Yes, these games only happen based on a world created by different developers and brainchildren of different story makers but think about it. If people nowadays could fix a car, cook an exquisite cuisine and create something out of nothing just by looking or watching different tutorial videos online, then what more can we formulate when the perfect time comes that our inner "military tactics" and "survival experts" would awaken because of what we have observed, and played, through infinite hours of game time. I could only imagine, the puzzle-solving, high intellect strategies that one "high leveled zombie apocalypse warrior" could come up with, don't you think? But regardless of it, no matter what would happen, I, personally believe that such a thing has its possibilities. And it should always have a special place on our conscience, wherever we may be to always be concerned about it and to always, be prepared about it. Because we'll never know, at some parts of the globe, viruses that could start this outbreak could probably be in the works, and yet here you are, still reading this article right? Just kidding! Don't worry, you are now at the end of this whole experience, if you reach this part, you are very lucky (And very interested I would say), because you have gained self-awareness. That at the outermost part of the world, zombies will soon walk this land, hungry and craving for existence, where they don't plan on sharing with others. Me and you, and a selected few, will see each other when the right time comes... I wish you well, I wish you survival.

The real Satoshi Nakamoto The mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto has been one of the most discussed and debated figures in technology, with many people trying to identify the inventor of Bitcoin. And while we may never know for sure who he is, there are some pretty compelling theories that have been circulating... ****The Japanese Theory:**** Within a day of his identity being revealed, many people speculated that Satoshi Nakamoto was actually a Japanese man by the name of Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto. His surname means "Central Intelligence", and his birth date (April 5th) is "5/4/1975," which is close to April 4th in Japan ("4/5"), when Americans would write it as "9/4. And if that's not enough, he literally wrote a paper on peer-to-peer systems, which is what Bitcoin is. ****The Israeli Theory:**** Israeli coder and businessman Dor Konforty claim that he has "a couple of degrees of separation" with the founder of bitcoin. He also claims that Satoshi Nakamoto owns several bitcoins in a trust fund worth $100 million dollars. On top of all this, Dor says that he and Satoshi met at a conference in Tel Aviv back in 2013. His reasoning for why it wasn't revealed to the public then is that there were huge security risks regarding the fact that Bitcoin was being run by an anonymous figure, as stated on his LinkedIn profile (which can be found here). ****The Finnish Theory:**** Finland's Central Bank has denied the existence of Satoshi Nakamoto but that hasn't stopped theorists saying that he might actually be Finnish. It has been suggested that Satoshi might actually be a person by the name of Michael Clear, who is a cryptographer and digital cash specialist. He graduated with a master's in pure mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin, and has previously worked as a financial cryptography consultant for Allied Irish Banks. The University of Helsinki released a paper analyzing the link between Syker and Bitcoin in late 2015 (and can be found here). However, there still is no conclusive evidence regarding this theory. ****Evan Duffield:**** The name "Evan Duffield" sounds very much like Satoshi Nakamoto. However, in order to find out who Evan really is, we'd have to dig deep into the history of the internet and its revolution, the history of cryptography, and his first ventures into the world of mining. Needless to say, there are many parallels here with Satoshi Nakamoto's first ventures into using computers for math equations and mining for Bitcoin-related currencies. If you want to go even deeper, he also has a company called ShadowCash (not a fork of Bitcoin) in which they use completely different cryptography from Bitcoin which is known as RPOW (Replaceable Proof-of-Work). ****Elon Musk:**** In recent times, many are speculating Elon Musk is the Satoshi Nakamoto. As we all know he is currently the world's richest man with a net worth of more than $185 billion. This is not possible if it weren't for his vast imagination and support to dynamic progression of not just in the advancement of technology but also in finance all over the world. His words are currently the scriptures of the Financial Industry, specifically the cryptocurrency aspect. So does that mean this would qualify him as the real Satoshi Nakamoto? Many speculations are circulating both online and offline. But the truth remains hidden, for now, we are left with conspiracy theories and gossips. But the secret behind the identity of the real Satoshi Nakamoto remains the same to everyone... Blur, confidential, a shadow hidden in the depths of the trading industry's "Bermuda triangle". The question remains the same... ***"Who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto?"***

Thinking of giving up? As a high school junior, I had the tiniest idea of what I wanted to do with my life. I knew it was either going to be journalism or becoming a vet. Two years later, as a freshly graduated senior, I didn't have any idea what on earth I wanted to do with my life. I was really stressed out because finding employment relies so heavily on having experience under your belt. And as an 18-year-old who doesn't even know what they want from their life yet, that's quite hard to come by. I'm thinking of giving up. My grades are good enough for me to eventually get a degree, but I feel like I'm going to regret not doing something else with my life. **Give Up Now Or Give Up Later?** If you're still in high school and do not know what you want to do with your life, that's ok. In fact, it's expected. However, it is important to start thinking about what you want out of life. Talking about it with friends and family is a good way to get an idea of the different possibilities. When I was a senior in high school and was having doubts about my future career path, I started asking around. Friends of mine already started figuring out what they wanted to do after graduation. One friend had decided to become a Navy doctor and another one was going into law enforcement right after high school graduation. There are a lot of different fields. You just need to pick one and stick to it. At the end of high school, there are three important questions you need to ask yourself before you make any career decisions: What do I want to do with my life? Why do I want it? What is my purpose in life? ***What Do You Want To Do With Your Life?*** Many people have different reasons for what they want to be doing in the future. You can change your mind about why you want your career path later on. However, if you start thinking about this now, it will help narrow down the possibilities. ***Why do I want it?*** Sometimes decisions you made in life are not subjected to what you think, but to what others influenced you with. It is made not to provide self-satisfaction but to give contentment to others. Most of the time, these people are rather close friends or direct loved ones. The sad part about it is that we as decision-maker, were supposed to look into ideas or suggestions that we believe could land up to great answers, but most of the time, their cards were always dealt on the table and not ours. Once you have the courage to decide and think outside the box on your own, and not rely on the influence of others, that's the time that you could say that what you will be doing or have done is something that you really, really, want. ***What is my purpose in life?*** Every year, more and more people are experiencing mid-life crises. And every year, the younger it is that people experienced it. The words "snowflake", "bitter" or even "infant" are common terms used to describe this kind of attitude. Wherein a little bit of hardship, pain, suffering experienced by these people, could make them bent their knees quicker than instant ramen gets cooked. Many in this life (especially right now), are commonly asking this question: What is my purpose in life? Do I have to continue life as it is or do I have to quit and do a 180-degree turn on this? Many things in this world could make us stop, focus and think of many ways to solve whatever it is that's in front of us, wherein the end the real solution lies in what we have behind us, our experiences, true people we could rely on, and a God so big that all we need to do is to stop and pray and let our faith do the talking in finding the perfect solution for every problem that makes us think to quit. *"No matter how big your problem is, there's a bigger solution for that"* How about you? If you're having some doubts as to what you want to be doing with your life, read on. We'll discuss why it's important not to give up on your goals and what can you do to get ahead in the game.

Dream. (pt. 2) Now I am an official felon (lol). I have committed a crime that I haven't done before, and yet I did it smoothly and just like it was nothing. (Talk about being a pro) So to my "supposedly" guilt. I closed my computer and started walking the street in a quest to find something to eat/drink. While walking, someone sent me a message, it was from my cousins' wife and it says: "Somebody left a pair of "AirPods" here at the office. I think you knew the owner, can you come and pick it up?" Surprisingly, I went there faster than I thought. (Instant transmission much?!) She handed me a pair of AirPods, and with a single glance, I already knew who the owner was (Don't ask me how I don't really know for sure). So I managed to give the owner a call and agreed to just meet somewhere. Moved on to the next scene, I was looking at myself from a 3rd persons' perspective. I was standing on what it looks like a well-lit alley, though it's not that dark yet, and many people are still walking around. You could tell that it's a very busy street, if I would compare it, I would say it looks very similar to the Times Square in Manhattan, but a bit cyberpunk-ish. While waiting for the owner, news flashed on one of the big screens placed on some high-rise building. I couldn't really remember what the news was all about, but after a few seconds, debris just came falling from the sky, punching a big hole on this screen, which caused panic to everybody. This debris was made of metal of some sort, in which we felt its weight as each and every one of them crashed on the plazas' floor. Since dreams don't really provide any sounds at all, you knew that this "falling debris" caused a lot of sounds as it crashes and hit other civilians since it really causes havoc to everyone. As the people along the vicinity, shelter themselves to safety, some people begin to investigate these metal "debris". From a distance, I was trying to figure out, what and where am I supposed to be at this very moment? And why did this " person " seem so important that I became so worried not to find her yet? As one civilian start approaching one of these edgy balls made of metal, it began to move and started to "open up" and transform into a spider-like creature, not only that, it has a gun! A gun that resembles a rifle, long-barreled, steel body, armed and loaded. And the moment, that this stranger started moving away from this robotic creature, it began firing at them. One-shot at a time. Yes! People are dying before my eyes, and as this continued to happen, many more came falling into the sky, which caused more chaos to this beginning-of-an-unexpected annihilation. Since I am far away from all of these, I had the chance to react and started running. While running, I scan the area for this "person" that I am supposed to be meeting earlier and try to somehow find her, as I saw more of these "things" fall from the sky in a random streak in all different directions. Receptions are no longer available, as I tried calling different numbers that I could think off. I tried calling back people I was with earlier but I can't seem to connect to anyone at all... I wish they were all safe. As I try to figure out what was going on, I remembered that in the office building there was this one room that looks sturdy enough to hold anything from outside. And at the same time, since our office is located on a high level, I am thinking we could funnel these invaders or whatever they are, for now, I'm going to call them "Derbots" short for "Spider Bots" since they resemble spiders and they literally look like little Decepticons. To be continued...

Dream. Dream I am not sure if I was a teacher of some sort, what I am sure of is that I am more in a managerial position, since being held responsible or have access to tasks that involved checking salaries, checking attendances, and such. You know the stuff that most in command has an access to. When I first had this sequence, I was envisioning myself with some random people only, no one is familiar, no real-life relationship. But last night (the second time around), It started somewhat in the middle compared to the first time (as far as I can remember though). My dream started off with me having a conversation with my cousin, it's a conversation that sounded like a continuation since he was talking about something and we were in the middle part of the conversation already where he was asking for a response on what he was asking. So I did in a quick mannered way, and I said, "I'll think about..." or something like that. Next part, he handed a copy of what you could imagine a list of employees under I believe our company. By the way, the setting of this dream sequence is more likely cyberpunk-ish that would lead to the total annihilation of some different lifeforms that tried invading the planet, or whatever place we are in. Technology is a little bit advance, but we still have the traditional, manual ways. Just like what I am doing on my computer, I believe what I am supposed to do is to encode all the names of the employees written on the list, that my cousin handed to me. Things were going smoothly and nothing but what I remembered happen the last time I dreamt about this. Remember earlier, when I mentioned that I have access to pretty much everything about the company? And yeah, my cousin was a janitor in this episode. So technically, that's one weird part of these scenarios (HEY! This is a dream, right? lol). Anyways, nothing would be supposed to make sense and yet everything seems so normal lately. So yeah, going back, I was checking whatever program that I have on my PC and learned that I could check their salaries as well. Not just their salaries, but also their bank account, and bank account values. And I mean, literally, check each and everyone's savings and credit account. To me, being the (I believe) protagonist of this awesome story, I have to do what's right.. right? So knowing that I could do this, then I quickly closed the program, buuuuuuttttt..... My cousin who's, all this time, standing right beside me, saw what I could do, and brought him some interest in this corporate powers that I have! Guess what he suggested.... yes you probably got it, to delete everything!... Just kidding! XD Of course, he asked if I could do something to hack into this account and make it seemed like they did a transfer of funds, from their account to our own. So of course, with my unbent traits, honesty, and uninfluenced resolve just to name a few. I quickly gave in to temptation! (Baka! Baka! Baka!) To be continued...

Living not allowed. So yeah, it was just minutes when I heard that my grandfather died. April 22, 2021 - 4:58 PM (GMT +8). It was ~~sad.~~ hurtful. It hurts really bad. As much as I wanted to act normal, absorb the blows of this news as I walk to grab my phone to answer my mom's call. I thought it was just some ordinary, "Hey what's up? Have you taken your meals yet?" But no. This time it wasn't. It was something that I ~~knew~~. Well, I thought I did, and I thought I was prepared for, but to my surprise, I wasn't. The conversation was pretty much swift. Just like a blade from a samurai's katana, I was cut into many different pieces. The words were few but every word hits like a ton of slow, stinging pain, every time my mom mentions them. "Son, your lolo's (grandfather) gone." Lost in a field where words, emotions, and actions are nowhere to be found. And to think that earlier today I was just singing and listening to Youtube as I spring around to finish my shift at work. "Son, your lolo's gone." Words that hit me so hard, that all of my emotions crashed before I can provide a proper one. Was this a joke? Are you for real? Why? How? Hundreds of questions that run as fast as the speed of sound came across my brain but what I chose was not to speak but to cry. "When words don't come across, actions will take over" That's the only time I had the chance to compose what to reply. And I thought I had prepared for this day already. Since I was aware of my grandfathers' current situation. He's old and I know it's just a matter of years, months, days, minutes... as he embraced his end. I guess, that irony is written today, isn't it? What's worse than living in a world where death among families is just part of the "new normal"... Is that no matter how hard I try to freeze my heart and numb my feelings... just to prepare for the worst to happen... ..but it still fucking hurts. I know no one's to blame here, not the system, not the government, not even Coronavirus. But the fact that every day, your family members, friends, and other people that you knew is passing away. My question rises from beneath my inner core... Aren't we allowed to live anymore??? Is it just part of the new normal that we need to endure, every pain and everything that we need to understand in order to live our lives as if nothing has happened? Are we written in a story made to finish somewhere in the middle without having the chance to see the wonderful ending? Is this part of a journey where one after another, at a random rate, we will no longer be touching elbows with our comrades, colleagues, and where we can't hug our families anymore? What does the future hold for those people who don't have the means to survive? For those people who don't have the physical strength to breathe the remaining good air that surrounds us. Is it normal now to say that tomorrow, next week, or months from now, we are no longer needed here on Earth? Something that hits me so hard is that no matter how hard you try to prepare yourself for what is coming. If it's someone that you really love. You would still be struck like lightning. All walls all defense will fall, and you would just be left there staring on blank space, wondering, what went wrong, what happened, and when will it happen again. So if you ever had the chance to read up to this point. Thank you for joining me and giving me a virtual pat on the back. It may not be unintentional for you, but for me, reading this article is like saying that everything will pass and we too shall survive this horror that we called "life". Rest well my dear "Lolo" (Grandfather) Rodrigo. Break free from this world's pain and suffering.

The world that I bred so many precious childhood memories Those were the days when your opponent would just concede because they can no longer handle your crazy SLARK. Those were the days, that you would wait for a vacant PC (desktop unit) because there are still many people playing (I only play on net cafes, since I don't have my own unit before). Those were the days when you carry everyone just to finish and win the game. Those were the days when they are fighting over who will download DR (Delay Reducer) Those were the days, that you spend your time trash-talking your teammates because he's so stupid that he didn't hit the ES (Echo Slam - Ultimate of EARTH SHAKER) because what he did was Echo then use dagger. Those were the days, that your trash talks would involve talking about each others' mother. Those were the days, that you anticipate seeing your bud being fetched by his angry dad because he didn't go straight at home after school, instead, he's playing with you guys. Those were the days, that someone will visit your "homecourt" to compete/bet with your top players and you would just "saybet" (sidebet) Those were the days, when you play "trio", then the game mode was -SDZM (Single Draft Zoom Mode), you would see your heroes immediately, then somebody would quit and says "There's no hotkey" wink:wink Those were the days, when you would steal money from your parents' coinpurse just to get ten pesos (10PHP) since you only have 5 pesos with you and you needed 15PHP to rent for an hour on net cafes Those were the days when all your problems go away and you only feel the pleasure that embraces you and your friends inside these computer shops (net cafes) Those were the days when potential fistfights among friends are pretty much a normal scenario because of taunts and got fed up with each other Those were the days, when everyone inside the shop is so focused and quiet then all of a sudden someone would let out a nice big fart and that called out a declaration of war and would cause havoc all over the place Those were the days, that you run away from your dad just to play with your friends. Those were the days when you would play with your closest friends, your closest teammates... but not anymore... because they were "too old to play"... and have jobs or different commitments to attend to... where we can't do what we did before... spending precious time together and don't care about anything but having fun... Those were the days, that I would never forget. Those happy moments that I had, that no present game in this today could ever match and it's just sad that this game is slowly being set aside and on the breach of oblivion. This is the world that mold my childhood and my major source of happiness and camaraderie back then.

"I am a scammer" In this trying times, many would decide to do things that doesn't require much effort but provides maximum profit at all cost. This is what they say; "survival of the fittest". Nevertheless, if you don't have money to put on the table, you're doomed to existence. I've been to sales all throughout my employment career. So I am kind of used to getting and making most of my funds from commissions other than my high salary, every month. But not all companies, offer the same thing, some companies provide high salary package but minimal commission, while most of the companies I've been with, do the opposite thing. Just enough salary compensation, but unlimited commission structure. Which is for me is a good thing, since you get to see people who would really excel and those people who are just waiting for their monthly salary. Definitely it's great way for the company to determine who will stay and who will have to update their resumé in the near future, if they won't show improvement. Well I guess that's how it works in any type of industry anyways. Jumping from, selling vacuum and cleaning products, to selling green card "grant opportunities" to aspiring immigrants, to VIP access of cam show chats. Trust me I've been there, from the legit ones to those they call; "boiler rooms" Now what struck me the most, not because of the salary package but the commission structure as well. Are those companies that provide investment plans to "brokerage companies" specifically, Forex, Stocks, Cryptocurrency, etc. Other than it's quite easy to sell, since, people are looking for opportunities to earn money online, but because, a lot of clients are just waiting to be scammed. People nowadays because of the wide access to advancement of technology, we tend to be lazy, so if you keep in mind these magic words/phrases: "You can have an ROI of 30%", "I will provide everything that you need to know", "This is 100% legit" and such... Of course, many people (yes I don't believe it as well) are still falling for it. Even if it writes "SCAM" all over it. The moment I realized that this is actually something big, is the same time that I drown from the never ending desire for money. To the point that I don't care if I am talking to clients, with disabilities, sick, about to undergo and saving for a cataract surgery, or they are experiencing calamities at their region/location. I am in bliss. "I am really good at this" I say. In fact, I never missed a month of acknowledgement from the company, because either I would have the "Highest Conversion Rate" or "Top Seller of the Month" those titles are somewhat, always right next to my name on a regular basis. But then it hit me. We had this joke going around on our operations floor that, since I am the top seller, I am the one with the largest house/home/lot in hell. Well to me it's something that I don't really care back then since I am drowning in my own achievements and money. So to cut these part short, my wife got pregnant, and I'm about to be a father. Everything flashed before me. You know those things that they say would happened when you're about to die or something, I think that's what I felt. It hit me. I made an epiphany. And I do realized that whatever it is that you got really quick, will also be taken away from you very very swiftly. And it did, someone got jealous of me, and created a scenario where I would screw up, stitch up stories that made my teammates doubt me. In other words, I was disposed like trash. One day I'm the best, the next day I'm a mess. So I've been to different brokerage companies. I've been with them for almost 8 years. Jumping from best offers to another best offer. Now I have no choice but to change my ways. I have a kid now by the way. He made me realize that all the glory and money is not worth it, if you know the people around you are just waiting for you to trip and fall. "No one would care to lift you up in life, but yourself, and your family" So I made a commitment that I won't go back on my old ways. For my son and my family. And I realize during this trying times in the pandemic. Money is nothing actually, yes, primarily it would provide you everything that you need. But if you are already on your deathbed or sick with something that doesn't have any cure yet. Then your money will not do you any good, but at least, knowing that someone is there to help you and to be at your side, I think that's something wonderful, don't you think? Yes, I am a scammer. But not anymore. If I could only say sorry, and change back what ever it is that I've done wrong to all my clients before, my family knows I would. But in reality, I could only pray and wish for the better for everyone. Stay safe and help each other. :) Peace!

Goodbye Coinpot.co... Probably to some this is just another crypto faucet, mining, multiplying site. But for someone who experienced leisure in life, then all of a sudden taken in a blink of an eye, this portal was my antidote to being insane. I was a Team Supervisor for like 2 years, got big plans for my soon-to-be-born child, and of course growing family. But then at some point, the company that I am working with decided to throw me in "Training" because of one reason... "Power Tripping"! I don't know about you guys, but if I saw someone overpowering a normal employee/agent/colleague, I am not the type of person that would just agree with the saying; "If you don't want to be part of it, just turn a blind eye, or they might transfer the bullying to you" I wish I have the heart and ears to listen to those "wise" words. But I don't so yeah, you get the reason now. And it hit me at the toughest time/moment of my life. Pregnancy for women is neeeeever easy. Much more for someone who needs to settle funds for the whole special event. Think of it as a bachelor's party with no strippers... (bad example I guess haha) or a baby shower with no baby gifts.... or your birthday debut without the whole celebration. That's what is about to happen. So as a loving husband... ehem... And excited father, I am going crazy!!! For all throughout I am managing teams, different people who are already good (by the way we are in sales, I believe I have to say that, so you'll know the transition I had from receiving bonus, commissions, spiffs, of course, big salary package and all to.... nothing but the salary itself that I received twice a month) in the things that they are doing, to people who has zero to minimal knowledge to what we are doing. So I was there, waiting for the next scheduled batch to come and get pooled to start with their training. As a responsible employee of the company, and a good trainer. I have to do good or else I might not just lose my position but the job next. So as I am preparing everything, from modules to slides, to different presentations. I came across, of course, Coinpot.com. At first, I thought of the same thing, for people who knew about this website. This is NOT a well-made website. It's full of ads, and definitely not those good looking ones as well, and for someone who doesn't know anything about cryptocurrency or trading or anything alike, it is definitely something that says "GET THE F*K OUTTA HERE" written all over it. But I was wrong, I did some research and for the longest period of time, I mined, played, challenged myself to my first cryptocurrencies there, little by little, visit after visit, I enjoyed harvesting everything that I need to do in order to survive whatever it is I am going through. And I did, now, the time where I/we need to say goodbye is near. This is a snip from their official announcement... And for someone who doesn't have a real persona, this website with all its perks is something that grew a part of me. And it is quite saddening to see it go away. I wanted to express and share this info, hoping I am not the only one who would remember this site and somehow share the same love I spend not just because it served me with the things that I need, to help out my current status, but because, it was there when I don't know what to do. It gave me a reason to carry on... now... a moment of silence to my (our) dear friend, you will be forever, missed. For the official announcement and all... I.AM.SCARED. What do I expect? Usually. I get to see people come from here, then move to noise.cash. Wherein my case, it was in reverse I guess... lmao Not that it's a bad thing, but I guess, it's more on how you guys personally, encounter things that make it, I guess, special. I believe as long as you are not harming anyone, and you are doing things in the beneficiary of not just yourself but with others, then I think it's fine. I wanted to do good here as well. But yeah, I have to admit, that I am extremely afraid. Hoping that I would somehow get a little bit of support, since I think this is a very fun way to express one's self. And I think that's very beautiful!
