To all Fathers
Dear Papa For you I wrote this epistle I hope it reached you Although, came through Mama You instilled the life from inception She taught me how to sit You showed me the patience behind sitting while waiting Was taught how to crawled You said never stop, even if crawling is the last option Was taught how to stand You showed me taller and wiser I will stand after any fall Was taught how to walk You warned to always walk away from all negativity Was taught how to talk You defined the importance of speech for it define who I am Was taught how to breathe You subtly inspired me to be grateful for oxygen is priceless Was taught how to run You pointed out the path I could run, and warned that the path isnt straightforward That its full of thorns and sharp bend, so I should run at a steady pace Was taught how to love You proved everyone I meet has a different form of love for me That if I watch carefully I will see it Was taught Everything You Showed and Gave me everything And Finally you told me if I try I could fly I am forever grateful and pray you live long to eat the fruit of your labor
