You we're never ready for love anyway But how could you resist....... Their intentions seemed different Their eyes looked harmless Their smile seemed reassuring Their words were a delight to your ears They were light to your dark soul They were warmth to your cold soul They were rest to your turbulent soul They were your escape from this world Love felt right with them Trust felt real with them Pain felt Numb with them Love had never been better Until.... It all began to fall apart It was all a façade Love was a hoax You came closer and the mirage disappeared Now you feel broken Now you feel empty Now you hate Love 'cause they left with your heart The darkness comforted you It drained the light in you Once again... Love had been an illusion
