UI/UX Design **WHAT IS UX WRITING?** UX is an acronym for User experience. It involves using words, clear cut words to create intuitive digital experience. UX writing helps to guide users of an application, program or product to have easy access to the particular program, product or designed application. Without UX writing the application or program is inaccessible. **WHO IS A UX WRITER?** A UX writer is a person who writes clear, cut short words or guides to guide users through the product, program or application and help them easily achieve their goals within the product. A good UX writer writes these words that assist the user through out his/her tour in a particular product, a good UX writer writes so well, that the user does not even have to notice the existence of the words. The writer inscribes words that help guide, educate, explain what the program is about. **WHAT ARE THE TERMINOLOGIES USED IN UX WRITING**? There are a lot of terminologies used in UX writing to guide users through a product. However, for the purpose of this article, we will be going through five (5) terminologies used throughout UX writing. And they include: 1. PAIN-POINT. 2. HEADLINES. 3. SUB-HEADS. 4. BODY COPY, BODY TEXTS. 5. CTAs. 1. **PAIN-POINT**: Pain points are the problems the users are facing in day to day activities, they are also the problems which the product or program is hoping to solve. 2. **HEADLINES**: Headlines are mostly the captions used in a product or program. They are Large, bold texts stated above to grab the user's attention. The Headlines is a sort of introduction. It introduces page key information in the application, product or program. 3. **SUB-HEADS**: These are short phrases which help the users understand if the content is relevant to them. There are mini-caption generally to expand the information presented in the headlines. 4. **BODY COPY, BODY TEXT**: Texts that the user is presented with. They are detailed information of what the headlines, sub-head Inscribes. They are the content per day. It could be a sentence, paragraph or longer etc. 5. **CTAs**: This is an acronym for Call to Action. They are buttons which help a user make a decision. They help a user either complete an action or cancel a such action. UX Writers are very much important and relevant when it has to do with Tech related field. They are the bridge between the users and the companies.
