What if we are not what we think we are?

In the mind of a philosopher that are millions of possibilities when it comes to what to “what is and what is not”. It may sound like a fairy tale to a non-philosophic mind, but the truth is that whenever we see things around us, we should not just look at them from a particular point of view because they may not be just that which we think they are. There are many times in life one will be faced with moments that define them but these moments can only be outlived when one understands that life is multi-faceted. Each time I think towards the multi-faceted nature of life, I feel like there are a million things the mind is yet to achieve.

We cannot say we have reached our potentials when we have all been living a mono-faceted lifestyle. Let’s take for instance a man who has chosen not to ever taste a burger all his life, he can never have the authority to tell others what a burger tastes like. Just as we all know; the taste of the pudding is in the eating. What this means is that one can only talk about what he knows and have a good understand about otherwise, we will be living a life with no truth in it. Have you ever asked this philosophical question that opens the gate of unending knowledge to the human mind? Let us look at the question "what if".

What If

Source

The moment we begin to add “what if” in our statements as humans, we will notice that a lot of hidden things will be revealed to us. I remember when I used to ask this question to my friends whenever there is a suggestion or an opinion which they want everyone to accept. I will ask them this question in a bid for us to look at the options we have critically. The philosopher does not do without the question "what if". This is because he believes that the human mind has more to give when it is pushed or given the chance to try out other options. The truth about the question "what if" is that any time it is used, it leads the mind to a greater understanding of the options that have been given to him and this makes it easy for the mind to go for the best options always. The challenge we have is that those who do not make use of this philosophical question tend to find themselves in situations they could have avoided if they had used the “what if” question.

Can you imagine what would happen if a young girl who has gone into a relationship keeps the question "what if" close to her heart all the time? The truth is that she will always have a second option because that is what the question does for the human mind. I bet she would not consider suicide if the relationship hits the rock. This is because the question “what if” has already given the understanding that a relationship can either work or not and if it works, then she would enjoy it but if it does not work, then she would have prepared her mind for what is to come. We all know that most suicide cases that happen in a relationship are because the heartbroken partner never had a second option. The next time you decide to go into any relationship, it will be to your benefit to keep the “what if” question very close to your heart.

“What if” question in other spheres of life

Source

A lot of people have had it all hurt all through their life because they have always believed that life must be good to them. The painful truth is that life cannot always be good to you at all times. Therefore when you set out in life to achieve a goal, do not act as though you have been destined to achieve that goal rather always have a second thought in mind.

Let us take for instance someone who has been getting good tips from the random rewarder and other persons on this platform, this person now decides to go and borrow money because he believes that his article will always receive some good tips. This person will end up getting disappointed when his article does not get the required tip he has been dreaming of. This does not end here it cuts across all that we do as human beings. If you are invited for a job interview, you should also understand that you are the only one invited. This will make to ask the “what if” question. What if I am not the most qualified?

This question will spur you into action because you have made the mind to understand that it has to work hard to be able to beat anyone who may stand a threat to you getting the job. When you do not ask this question, your mind might believe in the lie that you are the best candidate for the job thereby making you lose focus of the goal ahead of you. I can go on and on about the benefits of always being philosophical when it comes to achieving our goals in life. You cannot live a life that is devoid of the “what if” question and you expect to have it all rosy in life. You should have understood that risk-taking a vital part of life and without asking this all-important question, you will end up taking a risk blindly.

Let me ask us these “what if” questions.

Source

·        What if the life we are living is not the one meant for us?

·        What if we were meant to live and not die?

·        What if life itself is a façade of our imaginations?

·        What if BCH and READ CASH is our only road to financial freedom?

I would love to hear your responses to these questions I have posed and I believe if you carefully look at all the questions, you will be spurred to take actions that will lead you to the right path.

I love you.

This is good sentence and you asked good question. Actually we are everything when we have confidence in ourselves . We are nothing without confidence but we can be superficial or compete with GoD. So believe in yourself than you would realize that you are everything. This is bad idea we think above more than we have that quality so when we get lemon so then ww realize that we are nothing what i was thinking. So overthinking and overconfidence lead to distruction. So think positive and believe in yourself.

Or "What if death is a façade of our imagination?" And why not also ask, "What if you don't have to live as others live?" Perhaps you would like this article of mine: https://read.cash/@Mictorrani/the-strength-of-being-an-outsider-by-choice-0afbebe4

Asking oneself questions as "what if" is meaningful even when there is no obvious answer, because it awakens the individual to self-reflection.

Very good article of yours. Actually, I have always lived with this sort of thinking. I suppose I was born with a philosophical mind.

Man is naturally a philosophical animal but the problem a that we do not allow our minds to do critical thinking.

I would visit your post because I believe that we all are unique and have a lot of things to offer through our writings.

“What if” I never read your post? How would I be able to answer those questions and learn more. Hehehe. What if? After reading through I had to go back to check what the topic was. Then I realized it was “what if”

Now to your questions. I would love to answer the last question. What if BCH and READ CASH is our only road to financial freedom? I hope so to. But what if it isn’t? Just like i had for a platform back then. What if readcash fails and put me into disappointment? What if bch fall below the all time low? Assuming I had asked myself all these back in those day. It wouldn’t have pained me so much as it did when the opposite happened.

I am happy you have come to the understanding that we need to always look at things in the other way just not to be taken unawares. What if's are very important in life.

The What if phrase opens us to so many things. If we could question many things about life, then so many things we get disappointed about would not be the same. We could help ourselves and our lives by applying this What if and see how we will begin to think differently and act differently.

When we started to question things a new answers came up. I don't live in What-If. I want to live the What now. I have to deal with what's in front of me and on my lazy days I can think of the what-ifs in life.

Lol... I understand your stand but I am not using the what-if as a means to not think about what now. The what-if plays a major role when we encounter challenges in life and we begin to feel like we would have had it better... What if it was better than we thought of, will it have made us happier?
