We never thought it would take us deep into such long hardship which was felt by both the rich and the poor and up till now, some households and countries at large are yet to come out from the economic set back the first wave pushed them into. We all thought that 2020 will see the end of covid19 but from the look of things, it’s obvious we are not yet free from it. Gradually, countries are beginning to effect border lockdowns again which will hinder smooth economic flow from country to country. Even though vaccines have been found, a lot of countries especially Africa is yet to get the vaccines. This is why we are beginning to see lockdowns coming up again in Africa.
